A large campsite set in the heart of a pine forest with direct access to the lake Lacanau.
Located between the famous surfing, seaside resort of Lacanau Ocean and Lacanau village you will find this campsite perfect for a relaxing break in a natural setting. Onsite the pitches are very sandy and partially shaded with the many pine trees.
Alternatively make it an active holiday and enjoy all the watersports on offer either at the lake or on the endless sandy beaches of the Gironde. Try paddleboarding, kite surfing, canoeing, sailing or surfing all with equipment to hire at the beach.
The site is ideal for a family break or couples. Brand new facilities include a new restaurant, reception and a small shop. The bar / restaurant on the lake's edge is open at lunch and dinner in low season and non stop in the high season. A great place to enjoy the stunning view of the lake and its sunsets.
There are plenty of things to do on site and in the area with 200 km of cycling paths and hiking trails for nature lovers and don't forget to visit Cap ferret, Arcachon and the famous “dune du Pilat” (the highest dune in Europe) where you can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the pine forest and ocean from the top.
