Why stay here ...
Le Bois Joli is situated inland, away from the hustle and bustle of the Vendeen coast, 30km from the sandy beaches of St Jean de Monts and 45km from the main town on the lovely island of Noirmoutier which you can access by the huge bridge or Passage du Gois causeway which is only passable at low tide.
This is a good value, family orientated campsite making it very popular and busy during the summer holidays with predominantly French families enjoying the pool, man made lagoon with a sandy beach, large playground and organised activities and entertainment. There is a small shop, bar and take-away on site and the nearest supermarket is 10km away in Challans.
In the low season it is much quieter on the campsite and local attractions which can be reached by car include an Abbey, gardens and museums, Planète Sauvage animal safari park and the Puy du Fou theme park which is an hour's drive away.
