Great site

Perhams Green Farm
Lovely site which is well positioned to visit south Devon. Good welcome when arriving on site with options of which pitch to have. Admittedly the site is on a slope but plenty of wood made available to help level up the caravan. Great views from the van over the fields including the dog walking field which our dog loved. Toilet/shower block was great and kept spotlessly clean. Little bit of news from the road but that didn’t bother us.

Beautiful Views!

Perhams Green Farm
Lovely, neat site, well positioned for quick access to A35 , plus the adjacent road that runs directly alongside the site, (this is the reason why we dropped a star on peace and tranquillity, as with the wind direction, traffic noise is a consideration). We didn’t let it become an issue, as ear plugs at night are our must have!! However, the far reaching views and scenery are what made this site very special. We were welcomed by June, who was very friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower, although we didn’t use them, were kept pristine (we just made use of the facility to wash our hands after waste disposal) ! We did need to use plenty of blocks to level up our caravan, but there were bricks and pieces of wood for use, should you need extra!

So friendly and helpful

Perhams Green Farm
We struggled a bit to get our caravan into a good position on the sloping pitch here. The owner quickly came out to offer assistance. Unfortunately we don’t have a motor mover and manoeuvring with just the car proved tricky. The other 2 vans already in situ both had motor movers. As the weather wasn’t great and we were only staying 3 nights we didn’t bother with the awning so parked parallel to the hedge. This gave us great views. The dog walking field is a real bonus and there is a wood nearby. We didn’t use the on-site shower as the weather had turned chilly and wet. It was pristinely clean so definitely would have otherwise. The owner and family are really friendly and so helpful, loads of information supplied. There is a superb farm shop close by. We would definitely recommend this site.

A beautiful spot

Perhams Green Farm
Just home after a lovely six night stay on this beautiful site. Levelling was a challenge but worth it for the views across the valley. The scenery is lovely and the welcome was warm! Thanks for a lovely stay, we hope to return again. We would highly recommend this site. Thank you.

What a gem!

Perhams Green Farm
Having cut short our 8 night stay at a disappointing site nearby operating as a CS by the other club we arrived to a lovely welcome by June to stay for the remaining 6 nights of our holiday. The sloping all grass field pitches are very generous providing all the space necessary for social distancing and, though a little bit of levelling is required, the owners provide plenty of blocks and boards to help you. Water supply and hook-up is close to each pitch and the slope means that the grass is well drained and firm. Dog owners like us will welcome the 8 acre dedicated dog field adjacent and the pitches are so large that we could tether our staffie on a 6 metre wire without invading the next door pitch. The single combined toilet and shower is spotless and June kept it supplied with all the sanitising products necessary during this pandemic period. Devon is a county that is very keen on recycling and all the needed bins were marked up so that this could be carried out. The views from the field are stunning and it was lovely to sit out in the evenings watching the sun go down over the hills while supping one’s favourite tipple. There are several lovely dog friendly pubs nearby serving excellent food and there is even a Starbucks (but no dogs!) 5 minutes walk away if you fancy American style coffee shops. The coast is a 10 minute drive away and there are a few historic properties and gardens within easy reach. We were blown away by the value and beauty of this site and congratulate the owners for what they offer. We will be back!
