Why stay here ...

A quiet and secluded, level, lawned site with the option of hard standing pitches. We are open all year. The CL is set back 150m from the B1255, mid-way between the bustling seaside town of Bridlington, the quiet fishing village of Flamborough and Bempton village, with its world famous RSPB seabird colony.

Within easy walking distance are Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, a links golf course, a public swimming pool, beaches, cliff top walks and several places to eat.

The area is also excellent for longer walks, cycling, birdwatching and for nature lovers in general, with an abundance of wildlife including Deer, Badgers, Foxes, Rabbits, etc and many species of birds including nesting Barn Owls, Woodpeckers, many varieties of song birds, etc.

Within an hours drive north are Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, Pickering and the North York Moors Railway. West are The Wolds, Driffield, Beverley and York. South are Hornsea, Hull and Spurn Point Nature Reserve.

We are on the main bus route between Bridlington and Flamborough.

Shame about the Puffins.

Ryal
The site was everything the reviews said it was, The area was lovely the only downside was we went especially to see the Puffins at Bempton Cliffs but they were not at home the day we went but we had a lovely day and saw lots of other sea birds so all was not lost. We would like to go back again at some point. Many thanks Alan & June Drake.

Good CL

Ryal
We stayed here for two nights as part of our Yorkshire road trip, as there were several places we wanted to visit. It was a well kept site. Grass was mown and clippings picked up. This site is also on a bus route, handy if you don’t want to drive. The weather was fine and dry whilst we were there, but they do have alternative hard standing pitches, when there is lots of rain, as the field can get very soggy. Would recommend.

A Hidden Gem

Ryal
I have stayed here on numerous occasions and always had the most relaxing time. If watching the rabbits and wildlife is your thing this site is fab. No barking dogs! The pitches are level and well cared for. Bridlington Town is handy and other local attractions. Bus stop nearby

Lovely secluded site, very peaceful. We regularly saw the chickens and lots of wild rabbits in the evenings. The only slight problem was finding someone to pay! If peace and tranquillity is your idea of heaven then this is the sight for you.
