Cheltenham Certificated Locations

Cheltenham, or Cheltenham Spa, is a town in the English county of Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

It rose to prominence as a spa town in the Regency era after the discovery of mineral springs in 1716 - and tourists have never stopped flocking there ever since.

In the town centre, the Brewery Quarter hosts excellent pubs, bars and restaurants, as well as shopping areas and a cinema. However, there are reminders everywhere of Regency Cheltenham and it's well worth taking a guided walking tour to check them out.

There are a number of museums for anyone who likes a little more history and culture, and plenty of outdoor spaces for relaxation, including Pittville Park and Sandford Parks Lido.

You can also plan your trip around any one of the huge number of annual events, including Cheltenham Literature Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Paranormal Festival - and, of course, the Cheltenham Gold Cup in March.
