Fordingbridge Certificated Locations

Situated on the River Avon, Fordingbridge is known as the northern gateway to the New Forest.

Once an industrial town and commercial, today the town is a quaint destination with a beautiful seven-arched medieval bridge, plenty of green space and historic buildings.

Learn more about the town's history at the Fordingbridge Museum, go fishing at Riverside Park or take a look at the parish church of St Mary. The latter was largely built in 1150 and has some interesting Norman characteristics.

For a bite to drink or something to drink, head to the George. A traditional 18th-century pub, it serves up a delicious menu featuring locally sourced and seasonal produce, as well as a comprehensive wine list. Enjoy a meal by the fire or dine al fresco on the riverside.
