Lovely site with views

Turnover Hall Farm
Turned up on a Friday evening with the hope that I could find a pitch for my campa. The site I had booked at was so near the M6 I couldn't cope with the noise. I was not disappointed here. I was given a warm welcome and although the site was full following an event the previous day, I was accommodated. I was so pleased that I had open views of the nearby Boland Fells. Although a busy site with lots of caravans being stored, I didn't feel crowded. I loved being able so watch the changing evening sky as the sun set, even inside the van. For me the openness was a winner here. And as it's fairly local I will certainly be returning.

A Week at Turnover Farm

Turnover Hall Farm
Located the site OK but then not sure which was the CL as caravans seemed to be in every corner. When owner was located we were shown to our pitch on the CL, which was pleasant and uncrowded, which in theory should be ideal as there is a 5 van limit. Come the weekend more vans were being towed in and out of storage and 9 vans were on site at one time, which was too close for comfort in my opinion. There was no trouble and the other caravanners were quite pleasant and sociable ans seemed happy with there lot, not having to tow their van to the site etc. The toilet disposal point was a bit antiquated but served it's purpose but a bit smelly.at times. The on site toilets and showers were on the main site with access allowed although I gater there was a charge for the showers. Wifi was available if you were prepared to sit outside the reception or in your car in the car park but not very convenient. We were hopeful that this site would meet our needs for future use but guess we will be looking for alternatives. A real shame as it has potential. Health and safety could be an issue if any more vans get crammed on the CL.
