Our site is located on our working farm which has sheep and private horses on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors with easy access to the local historic towns of Pickering and Helmsley.
There is a pub one mile from our site and also many local attractions nearby.
You can visit the local coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby and many others which are all within easy driving and pleasant rides out to get to them.
Many local attractions for walking, cycling, visit North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Dalby Forests Cropton forest. There is an eighteen hole golf course seven miles away.

Jiffy the motorhome
Hen Flatts Farm
Just going home now after a fabulous stay at this lovely quiet site with beautiful views. Owner was lovely to us when we arrived. Cropton is just down the lane, where there are some lovely walks across the local countryside. Roman remains are along the road to the right as you come out of the site. Pickering is just a short journey away, but if you're going in your motorhome try to get there early enough to get a parking space! Definitely will return.

A lovely back to basics site
Hen Flatts Farm
A lovely back to basics site without electric and on grass.
It has a slight slope but nothing serious
We spent 4 nights here in September. Its very quiet with only the occasional car down the lane.
Crompton is a nice village with a good pub the New Inn which brews and good food its own beer 20 minutes’ walk from the site
Its great to find this little gem of a site. Will definitely come back when we are next in the area

Lovely site
Hen Flatts Farm
Lovely quiet site, access is great but their is a tight corner back in the village, Lidl is about 10-15 mins drive, easy access to pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors.
T.V. reception is good, leveling blocks needed
