Lovely site

Lovely quiet site, access is great but their is a tight corner back in the village, Lidl is about 10-15 mins drive, easy access to pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors. T.V. reception is good, leveling blocks needed

Pity about the muck spreading

WE arrived at Hen Flatts on a grey afternoon and following the instructions set up and drove up to the farm to let them know we were there. The farm yard was quite muddy and at the house there was no response to my knocking although I could hear music playing. The site is really the end of a field fenced off and with waste and rubbish disposal. Sadly there was a muck spreader very close by, not the fault of the farmer I don't suppose, but we only stayed 2 nights and again when I went to pay there was no one home and although the owners had apparently just driven past the field they did not come to speak to us and I had to put the money through the letter box. What a pity
