Super little site

Laurel Bank Farm
First time to this site and what a gem. Owner Alison very friendly and told us to park down at the bottom on a hard standing pitch which had loads of space and privacy for out 4 dogs. Quite a narrow entrance especially with cars parked at side of road. Toilet and shower quite basic but adequate we chose to use our own. There was a field next to our pitch which the owner said we could use to let the dogs have a run. We will certainly be back

Superb CL

Laurel Bank Farm
We're onsite now on mid April 2023. Sun is shining, birds are twittering, deer visiting, red kites soaring, rabbits wandering. The list is endless, such a relaxed atmosphere. An absolutely fantastic CL for our needs.

Pretty village location, quiet, family/dog friendly, excellent value

Laurel Bank Farm
Had several happy memories staying here. Owner Alison is very friendly. Pretty village location, the annual duck race is great fun and well worth staying for! Entrance is narrow but no issues getting in and out, even with a large outfit, Sloping site, some hard standing. The lower pitches can get a little soft in wet weather but easy enough to deal with if tackled sensibly and with a decent towing vehicle. Plenty of space. Not as "manicured" as some CLs but decent enough. Shower and toilets adequate. Perfect location for holidays - Ripon is a lovely city with plenty to see and do. Thirsk and Harrogate also well recommended. Well worth staying

Nice location

Laurel Bank Farm
We stayed for one night in September. Nice site, some sloping pitches. Pretty village - pub next door was closed when we were there but Masons Arms in the village was lovely. Ok for one night, although shower and toilet were a bit manky. Nice location in pretty village.

Great for a stop over

Laurel Bank Farm
We stayed a few nights in September. Very easy to get to from the A61 and would be perfect for a quick stop over. It is near to days out too. The entrance is quite narrow, especially when turning in from the road so careful driving is needed. No welcome so to speak but that suited us, it allowed us to pick a pitch and get set up without any hassle. The toilet is pretty basic and you will probably have to share it with a few spiders but we didn't mind. The shower was a little grubby and there is no extraction so it can get mildew by the looks of what we saw. We used it, although it is hard to find a clean spot to stand in the room so maybe stick with your onboard shower if you have one. There are no real views from the near end of the site as it is hemmed in by buildings and a pub but as a base for trips out or an overnight stop it works well. Would probably return if planning a stop off.
