Lovely and quiet

A very well kept site close to the A14 and M1 so good for visiting family. The site is spacious, overlooking fields and we loved watching the lambs frolick. It was only a 5 minute drive to an excellent pub, The Red Lion in next village of Thornby, which we can recommend plus coffee and cake in the World Peace Cafe, also in Thornby. We can also recommend the home made marmalade, which can be bought in the local church. We received a warm welcome and met some caravanners who return here regularly. We can see why and will also be returning, especially as the site is convenient for catching up with family.

Perfect site

A perfect little site , well kept and tidy ,water and waste disposal with recycling , price includes electric ,lovely couple running it , no negatives. (It does seem that you can visit the golf club down the private lane to the side of the site non members welcome to use bar and dining but may not open late if weather is not good } But didn`t get chance to try it

Marvellous marmalade

A worthy past winner of CL of the year. Well kept well located & a friendly welcome. Good value & wonderful marmalade at £1.50 a jar All good stuff but while waste emptying point is screened & adequate it could do with a tap rather than bucket & a smarten up to make it more hygienic & easier to keep clean. 4* to the Lills
