What a gem

Swan Field Caravan Site
What an absolute gem. We have just stayed here for 4 nights and what a lovely place. Super huge hard standing pitches, all with EHU & water. No facilities but this site makes up for it in Peace and tranquility and views.. And what a great base to visit this area of Northumberland. Alnwick, Seahouses, Bamburgh Castle and beach, The Farne Islands and Holy Island….what a fabulous place ….

Fantastic Site

Swan Field Caravan Site
We have just left this site after a 4 night stay. Andrew, the owner, greeted us upon our arrival and said if we need anything to just ask. Each pitch had its own water and electric supply and was very well spaced out for each pitch. Ideal location for staying if touring Northumberland. We will return when next in the area.

Spacious site with lovely views over fields

Swan Field Caravan Site
This site was a last minute change of plan booking for us, and Elspeth was very keen to try and help us sort our holiday out . The pitches are very well spaced out, and we were on pitch 5 that had amazing views over the fields that hares frequented. Such a joy to watch. Each pitch has its own tap and electric, which is a major tick in a box for us. Hardstanding pitches were maintained very well, and grass mown short with no grass clippings left (so no walking them into the awning or van). Andrew is a friendly, chatty fella, who is happy if you're happy. He checked In with us a couple of times during our weeks stay, just to make sure everything was OK. The site is close to the A1 but road noise is minimal, and it makes many local places extremely accessible. There are plenty of places to walk the dog straight from the site too. The weather was grey and damp the entire time we were there, but when the sun shines, I'm certain it would be a wonderful place to just sit and watch the wildlife in the fields for hours.

Excellent CL in a beautiful location

Swan Field Caravan Site
We have just returned from a two-week stay on this gem of a CL. It is situated just off the A1 in a peaceful tiny village. The pitches are well spaced out and spacious and each is kitted out with electrics and water supply. The waste disposal facilities are very easy to get to from each pitch and the site is well-maintained with great views of the surrounding countryside. There is a friendly pub right next door with excellent food and a bus stop in the village offering links to Berwick, Alnwick, Morpeth and Newcastle. The owners, Elspeth and Andrew were very welcoming and helpful. Probably the best CL we have stayed on
