Set in a picturesque location, Swan Field Caravan Site overlooks farmland with a view of the sea in the distance. The caravan site is small with only 5 serviced pitches which are spaced out allowing for space between caravans. Only a stones throw from the A1, it is an ideal location for travelling and site seeing around Northumberland. It is quiet and secluded in the pretty village of Warenford with the outstanding White Swan Inn within walking distance where you can sit at the bar enjoy roaring fires and eat from their delicious menu.
A very short journey away is the stunning sandy beaches and coastline at Bamburgh with the castle and the quaint village shops. Boat trips to the Farne Islands and the harbour at Seahouses are just along the coast. 20 minutes away is Holy Island, which is famous for both its medieval religious heritage and its beautiful 16 th Century castle. The famous Alnwick castle with its year round events and the location for the Harry Potter films is 15 minutes away by car. Alnwick has made different shops and a market which will cater for all shopaholics.
This area boasts amazing views and countryside where you can enjoy nature, bird watching, walks cycling, picnics and all the countryside has to offer.

Prestigious Northumberland CL
Swan Field Caravan Site
We think that we have possibly discovered the best CL in Northumberland, with fantastic views over farmland to the sea.
Andrew (the owner) has wanted the CL to be perfect prior to opening and, to this end, no expense has been spared. Access to the CL is good, approached via a straight private driveway to a bolted gate. The access road around the CL is fully stoned along with all of the hard standings, which are level and equipped with their own drinking water and 16amp electricity connection. The CL is very spacious, and is securely fenced.
The location gives you options of both countryside and coast. There are quiet lanes suitable for cycling to the coast, from Howick up to Holy Island, all within easy reach. There are many footpaths directly from the site towards the sea, or inland through the public footpath through Twizzel Estate, in the village, leading onto farmland and then moorland.
The site location is ideally situated for exploring north Northumberland and its many attractions.
We have had a relaxing break, which was extended to a very enjoyable 10 nights, and would highly recommend this CL.
