Church Farm offers its visitors wonderful views overlooking the Deben valley from a peaceful location in front of a church. In the evening you will be able to see a clear view of the stars with no light pollution. The sloping site is situated 0.25 mile up the farm drive. Each pitch has access to electric and water hook-ups and plenty of space for awning. Free range geese on farm, not on site.

A small fishing lake is 100yards away and filled with carp with a depth of 12 feet. I run a small farm, which mostly grows cereals. Cattle are present on the water meadows during the summer months.

The site is located close to the historic market town of Framlingham with its impressive castle (3m), Sutton Hoo Anglo-Saxon cemetery (7m) and the popular site of Snape Maltings (10). There is a choice of 3 local pubs that you can visit. These are the Kettleburgh Chequers, which is within walking distance of the site, Brandeston Queens Head (2m) and Easton White Horse (3m). There is no shop in the village but a full range of interesting shops are available in Framlingham.

We also run a popular Bed and Breakfast so family and friends are welcome to stay either in the farmhouse or our lodge, which is adjacent to the CL.

What a fantastic site! We received a very warm welcome from the owners and everything about the site is just so relaxing. The Chequers pub is well worth a visit where the food is reasonably priced and plentiful. All in all a very relaxing weekend and would thoroughly recommend this site.

Fabulous retreat

We stayed here on our maiden voyage with our new motor home. Ann and John, the owners, made us very welcome. It was a fantastic place to start our new adventures. A very peaceful location. There was EHU and fresh water to each pitch. We visited the local pub (The Chequers) which was only a 5 minute walk. We also walked to Framlingham (approx. 3 miles) which is a lovely town. The walk is a bit scary by the road as there are no pavements. We must add footpath maps to our next destination! There was an auto jumble at the farm on the Monday morning, which was a great visit. I would thorough recommend this CL as a peaceful retreat, loved every minute.

Small but perfectly formed

Just spent two nights at Church Farm, friendly owners, incl their dog! Very peaceful site with ehu & water on each pitch & waste facilities nearby for £12.50 per night so good value. Several walks from the site including to the local pub, The Chequers. Friendly landlord, well kept beer & good food. If you're looking for a Michelin 5 restaurant then it's not for you but if you just want decent pub grub, & plenty of it, then it's a must. Only 10 mins from Framlingham & it's castle. Half hour drive to coast. If your into history then Orford Castle is a must, & in our opinion better than Framlingham. Loved Aldeburgh which isn't far from Orford. For those in motorhomes then all three places have car parks that can accommodate although not the actual castle car park in Orford.

Quiet and Restfull

Easy access, welcomed by very pleasant & helpful owners, don't be misled by the photo of the caravans, there is plenty of room between pitches. As other reviews have covered most points all I can say is this is a CL not to be missed, it is so quiet and peaceful, all you can hear is the birds singing. The local pub The Chequers is well worth a visit, good food, pleasantly priced and lots of it.

Lovely CL

Lovely location close to Framlingham. Very friendly and welcoming owner. Lots of dog walks nearby and an unusual local pub. Looks a little bit scruffy but very friendly staff and good pub grub. It was a lot busier than I expected for a very rural pub. We will definitely visit again.
