As a small family run business we pride ourselves in adding that little extra care and attention that will make your stay with us a memorable one. Located at East Fortune Farm, only 20 miles from Edinburgh and 5 miles from North Berwick and with just under 100 acres of prime East Lothian farmland to walk around, our well maintained CL site is just where you will wish to pitch up for your holidays.

The CL has a wide entrance area allowing you to pull off the road before entering the site. The 5 well spaced hard standing pitches all face to the North with lovely views across the countryside. The CL offers drinking water facilities at the top of the site with chemical, grey water disposal areas, bins and recycling all at the bottom next to the information hut which hosts local tourist information, a BBQ to use, books for reading, DVDs, timetables and if the hens are laying well some lovely fresh farm eggs for breakfast. The site is securely fenced and there is plenty room for all our guests to enjoy the space and tranquillity of the site. There is WIFI for those who like to stay in touch and the bus stop, found outside Merryhatton Garden Centre is just a ten minute walk from the site. The nearest train station is 2 miles west of the CL site at Drem.

Advanced booking is recommended during peak seasons. Pitch prices include connection to 16 amp electrical hook-up. Dogs are very welcome at no extra charge and we have walkways around the farm for you and the family to enjoy with them. There are no extra costs of additional cars or visitors coming for the day.

Please note own sanitation is required as there are no toilet blocks or showers on the farm.

We have a farm shop and laundry facilities available to all on site.

WiFi charges apply.

The Brand family look forward to welcoming you to East Fortune Farm.

Not surprising this site has a no refund policy.three vans on site with use who all said the same they would have left if they could have got some money back.Shame the owners don,t mention there site is set between an EXTREMELY BUSY MAIN ROAD AND MAIN LINE RAILWAY LINE. the noise level is awful from as early as 5-30 am until 10-00 pm . At £16 per night it is a RIP OFF. LIKE WISE THE SHOP PRICES , I bought two small pies which cost £9-00 ONE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CHICKEN AND LEEK , IT CONTAIN ONE PIECE OF CHICKEN had the shop been open when it was our meal time I would have taken it back and asked for my money back. The same pies very were else we saw them were priced between £1-85 and £2-00 Never saw any member of the family for the whole of our stay.MONEY SEEMS TO BE ALL THEY CARE ABOUT. If club main sites can run a refund policy with given notice I THINK A CL should be the same. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO ANY ONE Sorry we had booked a long stay would have lost a lot of money had we left, Never again.

No one mentioned the train at bottom of field going to Edingbrough. Constant noises

Booked the cl but it was closed just as well as it’s along side a busy road. But nothing prepared us fir the larger field. It had the fast train to Edinburgh running st the bottom of it . It was constant until about 11pm and starts up st 6 am . We used the washing machine £4 per load . RIP Off as small load . We bought a small loaf from farm shop £1.76 ripped right off so didn’t buy anything else . There was a young sheep penned by field with dislocated back leg , very upset to his suffering and pain . Farm traffic on Saturday a.m. was mental right behind the van. All in all there are much better sites out there , thetevwad a party going on 2 nights in a awning , cheeky hits had run a second lead in to run builders heaters to awning. Dog loose . Shit heft on field , but owners never checked field so lost a lot of money that weekend. I’d never go back .

Great second stay at this well run CL site

This was the second time for us staying at East Fortune and after two years the site is still as well run and maintained as before. Enjoyed several days at the Edinburgh Fringe during our six night stay as well as a couple of bike rides in the wonderful local countryside. I thought a video would give a much better impression of the site than any words I could write so if you'd like to get an overview of the site feel free to check here. https://youtu.be/J7m4Hi_PCwA

Gem of a site

Access from A1 a little narrow at times but take your time and you're OK. Enter through the gate which is closed at all times. Beware the deer. One ran round the perimeter of next field and out onto the main road which is a fast one! Beautiful animal who disappeared as fast as it was seen. No showers or WC but we use our on board facilities anyway. Views across to "the Law" a local landmark. Volcano shaped Hill. Road beside us a bit noisy as 60mph speed limit lanes only downside. Owners friendly and helpful. Dogs allowed and dog walks around the fields available. Tidy and well kept site. Information shed sells eggs - honesty box. TV reception great. Close to railway line but it didn't bother us at all. East Fortune aviation museum worth a visit. Dogs allowed but not inside the buildings. Vulcan bomber alone worth a view. North Berwick is great. Lunch at the County Hotel recommended. Dunbar worth sightseeing with parking on the dock. Edinburgh 20 minutes by car. Lots of golf courses if that's your thing. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it.

Great little site

Just had 3 nights on this little beauty. Great location to visit Edinburgh, and North Berwick. The CL is in beautiful condition, with the grass kept tidy, and everything in its place. Pitches well spaced out so no encroaching on other campers area. Only downside it the water pressure! I would take our 51L container to the tap at the top of the site, walk back to the van, take the toilet box to the point at the bottom of the site and empty and clean it. Take it back to the van, load it up with fluid, fill the flush resevoir, then take the grey waste to the empty point, put all the pipes back in, walk back to the water barrel, and it was still only half full!! At least i got my step count up! That said, our stay was fantastic, and the owners were great. And make sure you get some of those eggs!
