Fabulous spot, super relaxing

Bogroy Croft
Had a lovely 4 nights here, stayed an extra night as so relaxing! We were surprised it wasn’t fully booked tbh, a great price including hook up at 16A too! Its very well organised without feeling it and each hardstanding has grass by it with 3 full grass pitches, also with hook up. It’s a stones throw from the famous pack horse bridge, with lovely woodland a short walk away, a nice stroll round in the morning with our dogs, who loved having a dip in the river. A small shop nearby as well which we popped in to for milk and ice creams on a very warm day. Horses, goats and cattle in the fields around so always something to watch, a few oyster catchers as well. Trips out to Aviemore where the closest supermarkets are for supplies and driving some of the snow road route as far as Ballater, well worth the drive, a lovely area, driving by the ski centre seemed strange in such nice weather, hard to imagine it in use! A day walking around Loch Morlich, quite busy there but very few seen far from the car parks! Easy to book by email, and Millie who manages the site is so nice and came by to see us. We have been to other sites since on our travels and had issues with midges, but none here when we stayed.

Great site

Bogroy Croft
We stopped for 2 nights on our way north and would be happy to book another stay in this pleasant site. Owner easy to deal with and facilities all in good order. Advantages: Clearly laid out, big pitches, 2/5 hard-standing. Easy walk into Carrbridge. Lots of local walks Cairngorms National Park location Disadvantages: Midgies, pretty much anywhere in this area when the wind drops in the summer evenings though! No TV reception (only a problem if there's something you planned watching though)
