Tranquil little spot

Glantowy Farm
A perfect site if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the calm and quietness. Beautiful setting with views all around. Plenty of walking opportunities also. £24 one adult and a dog for a hardstanding pitch, electric, water and grey waste on pitch. Toilet block is perfect also for a small site. I don't normally like unisex toilets but not a problem here as clean and a quiet site anyway. Shower area is clean and a pleasure to use as cleverly set out to avoid water everywhere when getting changed. Conveniently placed to explore the area around, National Trust properties, towns and beaches all easy drive. Also Mrs Edwards is lovely and very welcoming. Thank you, will absolutely be back. It's been a pleasure.

Perfect

Glantowy Farm
Its such a shame there are no photos of this site because it really is perfect for a CL, 360 degree panorama of a beautiful pastoral scene, Paxton tower in one direction (illuminated at night), Dryslwyn castle ruins in another, the Brecon Beacons in the distance, in the middle of tranquil meadows with gentle cows ambling past, all mid cons, refurbished toilet/shower block, all facilities easily accessed, the best waste water facility we have come across actually. Friendly helpful owner, ehu worked perfectly, good tv signal (not that we needed it much) warm welcome from the local pub with great reasonably priced food, if you want something posher Wrights is good, full of character. We cannot wait to stay again

Perfect for visiting the Botanic Gardens

Glantowy Farm
This site was perfect for a visit to the Botanic Gardens of Wales. We walked along the lanes to the gardens and spent five hours there but did manage to fit in Paxton's Tower, that you can see on the hill from the site, on the way back. This has spectacular views over the valley. The site is level, peaceful and the facilities are looked after. The pitches are big enough. We didn't meet the owner as they were away and there was no note to tell us how to pay so we left the money with the builder! A neighbour did come and say hello on our second day. The pub and food emporium are not open all week, so we could not visit these. There is one bus a day to Carmarthen.

Exceptionally clean, peaceful site.

Glantowy Farm
Exceptionally clean peaceful site, well maintained. The unisex toilet and shower block is immaculate (1 shower, 2 toilet cubicles & 2 sinks). Perfectly located to visit National Botanical Gardens of Wales & Aberglasney Gardens. 5 minute walk to the local pub - the Emlyn Inn where there is a nice selection of beers & superb homemade chips. Visited July 2021, prices were £18 per night for caravan + 2. Will definitely return. Thank you Mrs Edwards.
