Peaceful rural site

Hodgeston Hall
Lovely countryside site, lots of birds, dark skies for stargazing, 20 minute walk to Freshwater East beach and sand dunes. We stayed for an extended period in winter. Jonathan was friendly and very helpful. There are few facilities and no hard standing, hence the price, but a perfect spot to get away from it all while being in easy reach of Pembroke, Tenby etc.

Great to chill out

Hodgeston Hall
Tight access for big units but no problem for my 6m Motorhome. Friendly welcome from owner. Grass nicely mown, good sized field plenty of space between units, levellers required. Tap & recycling in camping area, black waste disposal through open garage next to the hall, toilet available post Covid. Battery charging facility in garage. Lovely quiet site in the small hamlet of Hodgeston. Don’t follow your satnav if it suggests approach anywhere except off the A4139 as all other approaches are narrow single track. Will certainly return here.

Good bus service and lovely site

Hodgeston Hall
Nicely cut grass - no hardstanding but not a problem.  Old toilet and dustbin by farmhouse - could do with a little tidy up.  Friendly welcome.  Good bus service to Pembroke and Tenby on main road (5 mins walk).  No shops or pubs nearby.  Walk/cycle to Freshwater Bay East - lovely beach but very hilly up and down!  Could drive there (via Lamphey road) and park motorhome in car park if arrive early enough.
