The site enjoys a splendid scenic situation close to the River Severn, Criggion and Rodney's Pillar. The area has plenty of walks and cycle rides. A short drive away will take you to Powis Castle, the Welshpool and Llainfair Light Railway and Lake Vyrnwy.
