Why stay here ...

Surrounded by trees so that you feel tucked away in a green oasis, Wyatts Covert Caravan Club Site is well located to suit the tastes of every mood - the non-stop action and shopping of London is only 18 miles away and the caravan site is also ideal for visiting small picturesque towns like Marlow and taking river trips along the Thames. Nearby Denham station takes you into Marylebone, with easy access to the underground system, stopping at Wembley Stadium, the venue for extensive sporting and music events.

With the M25 and M40 not far away, the Wyatts Covert Caravan Club Site is conveniently placed for excursions. Attractions within easy reach include the famously lovely Windsor Castle, Savill Garden in the Great Park, Beaconsfield (known for the Bekonscot Model Village), Henley-on-Thames, and Oxford with all the architectural splendours of its colleges. With plenty of rides and attractions, Legoland Windsor makes for a great fun family day out. For those who want to escape a little in tranquil surroundings, visit Cliveden (once the home of the Astors) or West Wycombe Park, both beautifully preserved by the National Trust. If you enjoy long walks in lush green settings, both Denham Country Park and the Grand Union Canal Towpath are not far from the caravan park and offer hours of easy exercise. Some aircraft noise can be heard from the site. The site is outside of the London Low Emissions Zone (LEZ).

We found this site ideal as we were visiting friends and family for the weekend.  We were there for 3 nights and it was bitterly cold weather.  I mention this as on our last night we went to bed, toasty warm but, in the small hours woke up really cold. No power in the van, therefore no overnight heating. I'd assumed a power cut. Once light I discovered a van behind us had pulled out our cable, plugged in his own and chucked ours on the grass, it was minus 2 degrees that night. Why he did that I've no idea as he wouldn't open his door but so talked to the site managers,  who were stunned by this and couldn't be more helpful. I still can't get over how selfish and inconsiderate some people can be, especially as a power post had plenty of spare sockets even closer to him than where ours was connected was available.  I cannot conceive of a circumstance where I'd behave so appallingly on a site.

Great site to strike out from

Stayed for a few nights over half-term, usual high standard of facilities for a Club site kept clean and well-maintained by the friendly and helpful wardens. Don't be fooled by the bus-stop just inside the site - only about 3 buses a day and the earliest isn't until after 10am. The railway station is only about a 25 minutes walk, and there are 2 trains an hour into and out of central London (which in fairness is why we chose this site). Only a few of the pitches are wide enough for awnings, but don't leave your shoes/Crocs loose in the awning overnight - the foxes take them!  I'd echo previous comments, the proximety to the aerodrome is great for plane spotting (kept the kids happy) during the day but the take-offs & landings end soon after 5/6pm so not that intrusive.  No play area.

Half Term Holiday

We have been to this site a number of times and love it. Its not huge and there is no facilities for children to play but hey - we weren't here for that. We chose this site because of its proximity to getting into London. It is conveniently placed for Denham station and a weeks car parking costs about £22. We went into London every day on this visit - leaving at 9:55 and not getting back until after 10pm. Long days but train routes were reliable. Site is kept very clean and it was nice that the users didn't foul the place up (last time at Crystal Palace was awful and full marks to the team there as they had their work cut out). We found low noise with not much air traffic from the nearby Denham Aerodrome. Site team were friendly. Its  a bargain to stay here and it is also a great location for other places nearby. A+

Excellent site

We recently stayed here to visit Harry Potter World and central London. We weren't disappointed. The site was clean and tidy with the toilet block being of a very high standard. The site was excellent for visiting London with denham station taking us straight to London in 25 minutes. Aircraft noise died down after 5pm and wasn't an issue. Would thoroughly recommend!
