Surrounded by trees so that you feel tucked away in a green oasis, Wyatts Covert Club Site is well located to suit the tastes of every mood - the non-stop action and shopping of London is only 18 miles away and the caravan site is also ideal for visiting small picturesque towns like Marlow and taking river trips along the Thames. Nearby Denham station takes you into Marylebone, with easy access to the underground system, stopping at Wembley Stadium, the venue for extensive sporting and music events.

With plenty of rides and attractions, Legoland Windsor makes for a great fun family day out. For those who want to escape a little in tranquil surroundings, visit Cliveden (once the home of the Astors) or West Wycombe Park, both beautifully preserved by the National Trust. An honest review of Wyatts Covert

My wife and I had a 5 night stay in this site and overall had a relaxing stay. The access road to the site is quite narrow in places after you have left the main road and should you meet an outfit leaving the site it could be difficult to pass therefore it is not a good idea to arrive any earlier than 12. The wardens were very friendly and clearly work hard to maintain high standards of cleanliness. With reference to previous reviews of the noise issues you are next to a small airfield and there is no getting away from the fact that light aircraft and helicopters fly over the site frequently from 8am onwards (we were woken at 4.30am one morning to the sound of a helicopter warming up and then taking off but this was a one off). We weren't overly impressed by the surrounding area which was a bit grey but we did enjoy taking the dog for a walk in Denham Country Park and along the Grand Union canal. Would we return - yes and the site was certainly not a car park as has been stated in previous reviews. Top tip avoid the M25 at all costs!!

Handy site very clean

We booked this site solely so we could visit the Harry Potter Studio Tour so it was just a base to lay our heads for one night. We arrived on the Saturday and found the reception very welcoming even though the staff admitted they hadn't been there long they were still able to book us in very efficiently. The site didn't have a great number of pitches available big enough to accommodate our van which is not a huge van by any means (single axle) so I can see this might cause problems in high peak times but the pitches that would fit were plenty big enough. The site is peaceful and very clean. There is quite a bit of light aircraft noise from the opposite airfield but my daughter loved watching the aircraft coming and going and it didn't interrupt the night so it wasn't an issue for us. Indeed, there is a delightful cafe on the airfield serving lovely food so handy to sit and watch the aircraft at close quarters. Sunday was the main reason for our visit. Our tour was booked for the morning and it was literally a short journey round the M25 and we were there in 25 minutes. My partner stayed at the site and took the dog for a lovely walk into the lovely wooded walk immediately adjacent to the site and took lunch at the airfield. We booked an extra night so we could leave later on the Sunday to avoid rushing and to be fair it was very tempting to stay the night but school and work would not allow! True there is not a huge amount to do close to the site and there is nothing for children here, but if it is a base for the surrounding area in a peaceful, clean site then this is the place for you, especially if you wanted to travel into London.

London visit

We stayed here in our Motorhome for one night earlier this month. Proximity to motorways is well documented and the associated drone of traffic did not come as a surprise and seemed to abate once we got used of it. The site is easy to get to with spotlessly clean facilities. Brian our warden at check-in was very helpful and welcoming. The night we stayed was particularly wet and we were able to order an Uber to get to Denham village for dinner where there are plenty of choices (fare £5.18) a return cab ordered by the restaurant worked out at a similar price. This is an excellent base for visits to London with a good train service from Denham station to central London. We would definitely recommend this site.

London calling only

Small but perfectly formed site. Some pitches a little small but facilities and staff excellent. Helicopter noise present - and they do hover for quite some time - but that didn’t bother us nearly as much as the van next door who left for work waking us up at 4:30am every morning! Suspect contractors working on HS2 will make it worse. Convenient for train station if London floats your boat, but otherwise location is poor with the lovely canal and lakes a good 3 mile round walk. Nothing else worth walking to. Most motorhomers on site site also had cars...

Great Site

Faultless. Perfect for visiting the big city. Taxi to the station (hubby's back not great fot the 20 min walk) cost £5. 25 mins direct to Marylebone. Will be my go-to site whenever I wish to visit London in future.
