Wonderful site

Bearsted Club Campsite
What more can we say, a wonderful quiet site in the middle of the Kent countryside, but easy to find and access as it is just a few minutes from J8 on the M20. Great central location to tour Kent. The site is beautifully kept, a credit to the site team, who are always out and about doing something. !!! The visiting food vans are an added bonus, and well advertised so you can plan when to have a takeaway, or a sunday morning coffee !! We will definitely return next year

Long term residents

Bearsted Club Campsite
Just left this campsite, seems to us there were a few long term residents on site which gave the holiday a slightly depressing feel. We didn't sleep well, dogs barking all night. Toilets and showers were good, but sadly will not be returning here.

Best Site on the network

Bearsted Club Campsite
Was recommended this site by some friends who visit the site regularly and it didn't disappoint. After reading one review on here, I was quite worried, but I have to say I don't who how anyone can class this site as soulless!! From the moment you arrive Andy and Troy make you feel so welcome. The floral displays around reception are beautiful, then when its dark the site comes alive even more with solar lights in the trees and planters. I particularly liked the innovative display of bottles. "Herb your shelf" which we used on several occasions was a great benefit. The welcome leaflet was full of helpful info about the site and local area, also including the fact that recycling is done at the end (guessing the previous reviewer didn't read that). We cannot wait to return. The Butchers Block at the Bluebell in Bearsted was excellent, and offers discount to members.

Fantastic site with great management

Bearsted Club Campsite
Booked in here while visiting family close by. Andy and Troy were great wardens - they really work very hard to make the site welcoming. The site is immaculately clean, great facilities and lovely personal touches to make you feel really relaxed. The onsite shop is well stocked with all those holiday essentials, and a few sweet treats. The local area is great to explore - Bearsted Green (30mins) and Leeds village (50mins) are within walking distance, and have lovely pubs (10% discounts offered and dog friendly). The site also has good access to the M20 for those travelling to/from the continent. Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely return!!

Diss

Bearsted Club Campsite
Unfortunately, this was the worst Caravan and Motorhome Club site we’ve ever stayed at. We originally booked for three nights but left after just two, forfeiting the payment for the final night because it wasn’t worth staying any longer. The site is not very dog-friendly. The designated dog area is long and narrow, and it isn’t securely fenced, making it unsafe for smaller dogs to roam freely. Furthermore, the only walking routes available are accessible only via a busy main road, which isn’t ideal or safe for dog walking. Moreover, the site lacks proper recycling facilities. The only bins provided are for glass bottles, with no options for recycling other materials. This was disappointing and not up to the usual standards we expect from a club site. The pitches are spacious, however when the site is full you do feel very overlooked from all directions. On the positive side, the showers were clean, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong. However, despite these positives, the overall experience was so negative that we would recommend avoiding this soulless campsite altogether.
