Edinburgh Club Campsite is an ideal location for your holiday getaway. Situated on the Firth of Forth, the caravan park provides easy access to Edinburgh, Europe's festival capital. You will be ideally located for the many attractions, both modern and historic, that this beautiful city has to offer.
Edinburgh is a friendly, cosmopolitan city. Edinburgh Club Campsite puts you within easy reach of some of its most famous landmarks. You can visit the castle which clings dramatically to a huge rock face (home to the Scottish Crown Jewels), walk down the Royal Mile to the Palace of Holyrood House (the King's official Scottish residence), stroll past the historic Scottish Parliament Building or enjoy the tranquil green expanse of Princes Street Gardens. The caravan site location also ensures that you're well placed for the famously fun summer festivals, seaside strolls, a round or two of golf, Edinburgh Zoo and an almost unlimited choice of restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues.
The site is only a stone’s throw away from the waterfront where campers can walk along the promenade of Cramond and, only a short drive away, visitors can enjoy the popular coastal suburb of Portobello with its pubs, restaurants and shops.

Directions
From the A720: Exit right at Gogar roundabout (signposted City Centre, A8). In about 0.25 miles turn left onto the A902 (signposted Forth Road Bridge). In 1.5 miles turn right at Barnton junction traffic lights. In 1.75 miles at Blackhall junction traffic lights fork left onto Telford Road (signposted Leith, Granton, A902). In about 1.25 miles at Crewe Toll roundabout turn left (signposted Davidson's Mains, B9085). At T-junction (past bridge) turn right at traffic lights signposted Granton, Newhaven, Davidson's Mains. At next traffic lights turn left (signposted Davidsons Mains, Silverknowes). In 0.5 miles at roundabout turn right into Marine Drive. Site on the left in 0.5 miles. From the M9 continue onto the A8 to Gogar roundabout; then as above. From the A90 continue at Barnton junction traffic lights then as above.
Due to the new road layout - please do not follow your Sat Nav for the last part of your journey. Silverknowes Road alongside the Golf course is now a bus lane, please do not use this road. If you are approaching Silverknowes from Lauriston Farm Road, please take the second exit on the roundabout, along Muirhouse Parkway. At the next roundabout, take the first exit onto Marine Drive, following this for approximately 1.5miles and the site entrance is on your left.

nice clean site
Edinburgh Club Campsite
we stayed here for a week so our first time in this area while we visited Edinburgh. Site was half closed due to refurbing a toilet block but we knew that when we booked. The toilet block that was accessible was nice and clean. Very well kept site. Bus not to far from site to go into Edinburgh, also park and ride which we used but that was further out. The roads are dreadful, full of potholes which put us off driving in and around the areas.
We had bad luck with the construction site and airplane noise.
Edinburgh Club Campsite
We had booked the site in Edinburgh in advance. When we arrived, we learned that there was currently only one toilet block because the other one was under renovation. Unfortunately, the site was also very crowded, so we had a spot right next to the construction area. This meant that we had the farthest possible distance to the toilet, and it was always very busy there. If we had been informed about this in advance, we would likely have booked a different site. And there wasn't even a discount for these inconveniences. We stayed from May 12th to May 15th, 2024.

What a welcome from the site staff amazing, David and his wife were great, David gave us some ideas where to go . On the fife coast which was amazing and we would never have found these beautiful places without his help thank you so much.
All the wardens were fantastic and a credit to the club and themselves.
Perfect for the beach and walks from site, The beach club on the promenade had some live music and perfect to take in the views across the Firth of Forth. You can catch a bus into Edinburgh from main road at the back of site just a short walk. The facilities were spotless.The site is spotlessly clean and credit to the club. When the upgrades are finished it will be 5star ++ , We honestly never heard the works going on .
The directions to the site were faultless and very helpful as the road layout has changed .
Undergoing a refurb
Edinburgh Club Campsite
Stayed 2 nights at the Edinburgh site, the site is currently undergoing a full refurb of the toilet blocks so there is currently only one toilet/shower block in use, no real issues with this but be aware you might have to wait for a shower to become free at peak times, pitches are a good size and as always the staff were very friendly and welcoming, only issue with the sites location is that you are near the flightpath of the airport with flights starting at around 5am and although not mega loud it might be worth investing in some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.
You can catch the faster number 27 Bus into Edinburgh or the longer route number 16 via Leith on Muirhouse Parkway a short walk from the site,

What a welcome from the site staff amazing, great location for the beach and walks from site.
You can catch a bus into Edinburgh from main road at the back of site just a short walk away. Facilities are being done up so won't comment but are very clean, site spotlessly clean and credit to the club.
Site manager and his wife helped me with everything I needed to know, and the other members of the team are so friendly a credit to the club.
