Why stay here ...

Secure your 2024 or 2025 holiday with only a £5 deposit*

Situated just north of Brora on the east coast of Sutherland, Brora Club Campsite is set in a sheltered saucer of land with pretty views of the surrounding countryside and just 300 yards from a sandy beach. You can play golf directly from the caravan site and use the course as your pathway to the sea.

The site offers plenty of attractions for the whole family. Birdwatchers will be in their element - there are even Arctic Tern nesting just above the beach waterline. Those who enjoy water activities will have a choice of the loch or the sea for either swimming or fishing. The caravan park is an ideal place to unwind - you can lose track of time while watching birds, seals, dolphins and deer. The village of Brora is only a couple of miles away and has shops and a couple of dining options, and you can walk further down the coast to Golspie with additional eating and drinking establishments.

To fully take in the spectacular views of the region you can walk, drive or cycle along quiet routes to discover the many picturesque lochs and mountains. The single track rail journey to Wick is a scenic must and the Orkney Islands beckon with day trips from John O'Groats at Brora during the summer.

Our 2nd visit

Brora Club Campsite
Our 2nd visit to Brora while touring. Such a lovely and very peaceful site.... an no Midgies (Sept 24). Pitches well laid out and the facilities block was excellent. Hubby said the disabled facilites were extremely good too. There is a fabulous, and deserted, beach (when the tides out) just a 10 minute stroll from the site which takes you across the adjacent golf course. Be aware of golfers. There are also cows grazing on the course at times. We saw a beautiful sunrise across the sea here too. Definitely a site to return to again.

Return visit

Brora Club Campsite
Lovely site in amazing location. How many sites can you sit and eat your evening meal whilst watching highland cattle stroll down the adjoining golf course? Just over the golf course is the most beautiful deserted beach. The site itself is run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to welcome you and ensure you have a great stay. The toilet block - although not the most modern - is spotlessly clean as are all facilities on the site. Sorry to hear the wardens are moving on at the end of the season, so just hope that whoever takes over keeps up their good work and high standards.

Most beautiful spot on NC500

Brora Club Campsite
Beautiful quiet site, edged up to a golf course with a lovely beach beyond. Easy 10 mins walk to the beach across the golf course which had sheep and cattle wandering about on it! We had pitch number 4 directly overlooking the golf course (and lovely highland cows). The wardens were fantastic, helpful and worked non stop to keep this site immaculately clean, this site is a credit to them. My only regret is we only stayed one night, I wish we’d stayed for longer! Great site

Brora Club Campsite
We stopped by on our tour of the NC500 and got a Good welcome by the couple who ran this site. Well maintained grounds ( where the lady was constantly working on improving the site to her vision) and good amenities with lovely touches everywhere. She always had time to chat with a great sense of humour. A beautiful long beach just a 5 minute amble over the golf course to reach. Lovely local village about 30 minute walk away with amenities. Dog friendly and lots of fuss for our Bonnie.
