Good morning. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience being caused with the implementation of our new booking system. Members and guests are able to make bookings through the new system however this is not the complete experience we have designed. 

Please be assured our IT and Technical Teams are working extremely hard to resolve all of the issues as soon as possible.

the amount of pitches may well be what is available after the past bookings have been transferred! surprised

No JV that was against every CL that I looked at, not on the sites booking page.

Where it list all the CL information it's says Pitches 0

If you have the patience have a look but be warned it ain't easy.

I have just spent just over an hour to book one site, this new system is an absolute lash up.

Regarding dates of birth, during my failed attempt at booking they asked for my wife's DOB. So ok, complete the date and month - then when it comes to year there was no drop down box of years. The only way was to swipe through month by month for 75 years - would have taken 900 swipes. I lost patience - she is now 12 years old as far as the club is concerned.

And the android app is still not working.

If your wife is a joint member then you don't need to do that, it's ONLY  for guests who may join you during your stay. 

There is a New app so delete the old one and download the new one, it then works.

New system = at 80 I though it was poor IT knowledge but having just read these review’s it’s not me. Just signed up for Camping Club,and I won’t be renewing my membership or insurance with the caravan m club

Not my experience, I'm afraid, when using the website on a laptop rather than the app.

My wife and I are joint members, and My Profile confirms this. When trying to make a booking for 2 people, ie the two of us, and no guests, the website still demands the second person's name and DOB before continuing.

It's set up as if you were trying to make a ferry booking but for a UK site booking I find it disrespectful.

BTW I just entered rubbish in those fields and the system then let me continue.

I'm struggling to book as well, but chill out everyone!  In particular if you are going to go to the site then paying a deposit doesn't cause you an issue but hopefully will stop people not turning up.  

 

My brother in law was on a site last week, officially full but 3 empty pitches which is lost revenue for the club, that's not fair on members or the club.

 

Teething problems are annoying but that's all they are I'm sure they'll get it sorted.

On most sites there will be a couple of spare. pitches in case of on site or off road emergency shows a good site team who are in control of most evetualatiessurprised

I received no notification that the booking system was opened today only by chance I went on and was in a Que.  After putting a couple of 2023 trips into our basket and watching how much deposit I’d need to pay for a year in advance and also the price increase for certain sites we decided to not bother as there would be an awful lot of money we currently need sitting in their account for a long time.  We have never not turned up to a site and understand it is frustrating for the club when this happens,  but surely they could have just limited you to a certain amount of bookings per year on the current system.  We have always looked forward to planning our holidays on the site when we were able to but unfortunately we are not going to this time and may even look at other private sites which is such a shame for us members who always abided by the rules!  Surely the club would know who the persistent offenders are and cancel their memberships.  The booking system is confusing and after such a long delay & negative reviews from members who have tried to book I am not at all confident in making any new bookings for the time being!
