The Club have released more details of the new Booking System here

There are still finer details still to be arrived but the link (thanks Harry) sets out how the new system will work.

I have closed the previous thread on when we will get details of the new booking system and opened this one to allow comments specifically on the new system rather than discussing what they might be.

How about a Club Site that has all sorts of watersports adjacent, steamboat rides, cycle paths, a birdwatchers paradise, a sculpture trail, and Go Ape for those who can? Glamping pods available here. Open all year as well. Plenty for both families and adventurous couples. Some Club Sites do have a lot more than is perceived at first glance. Coniston Park Coppice in case you haven’t recognised it. 😁

I’d go for it. Until the aviation industry is taken to task around polluting fuels, it’s cheaper to fly. Portugal always sounds nice.

Strangely I have had an email just today from Yelho Villages,a campsite group offering a chalet on a first class Algarve site for €350 a week, a fraction of club site prices and there is even the chance of some sunshine thrown insealedsmile

€1400 for a month in the Algarve? Airbnb is offering better value than than that .

I haven't recognised it, but there are activities adjacent to many sites as seperate ventures.    Is there now a new Go Ape closer than Grisdale?

That was one very big upside of last years lockdown in this area no aircraft. Blue sky's stayed blue and it was quiet cool

No idea Nav. Go Ape isn’t my thing, but I do like Watersports. 400 metres from Site I believe. Easy carry for a canoe, windsurfer, paddle board, even easier for a bit of wild swimming. The fact that they are separately managed is a plus as far as I can see. I know what the running costs of a swimming pool are, so happy for the Club not to load pitch fees with a percentage of running costs if I don’t happen to be interested in the extras🤷‍♀️

If you want all inclusive then that’s fine as well, pool, tennis courts, pony trekking etc….. plenty of scope and different budgets cater for this as well, not least Butlins, Center Parcs, Warners etc…..
