I know a few members are like us and mix in a few none Club Sites into a tour. Thought I would open up a thread for folks to post website links to any nice sites they come across, that might interest others.

This one to start with http://www.thamesheadinn.co.uk/camping-caravan-sites-cirencester-glos.html

Just off A433 few miles from Cirencester, so ideal for Cotswolds area. Plenty to see and do in area, Pub is nice for food.

Moderator Edit:

This thread is for posting links and/or reviews.  Please don't use it to discuss the merits, or otherwise, of other people's choices.

Thank You.

Nope that doesn't work,I keep getting "This site cannot be reached".

It's definitely as below. I just don't know how to make it live.

I think there is a problem with their website Nell but that link will at least open it. Hopefully.

Edit - Nope. Suggest people merely look it up on the Ukcampsite website.

Agree with WN about this site.

My offering is a small site near York, which has no toilets but is all H/S and has free wifi, and there's a bus stop just along the road with a 1/2 hr service into the city...Cherry Tree Cottage

There are some very nice options out there, particularly if someone needs a venue for an event, and doesn’t mind spending a bit above usual CL rates. What we like about these small private sites are they are usually a lot nicer, quieter than big Club Sites, but often similar price or cheaper. Ok, they won’t suit everyone, and might have some restrictions, but good to have a bit more choice.
