This was our 2nd stay at this site and it was just as good as the first. We even got to try out the stile that was erected shortly after our last visit. We love the sustainable ethos of this site as well its location and great owners. So much to do in the area and James keeps the site Facebook page regularly updated with events happening locally. We cycled straight from the site, as well as around Aylesbury/Waddesdon Greenway, and went a bit further afield to Milton Keynes (check out the get around MK website for lots of routes and other useful information). The alpaca's were just as much fun to watch and this time we also had the entrainment of ducks roaming free (they were being kept in due to bird flu on our last trip). Thank you James and Jo for continuing to run this brilliant site, if we were closer it would be our "go to site".
1st Time
We have recently purchased our first camper van and this was our first time out. We couldn’t have asked for a more friendly and helpful welcome. Lovely peaceful site with views of the alpacas in the adjoining pastures. They are very relaxing to watch sitting outside the van with a drink. If all sites and owners are like this, then we have definitely chosen the right thing to do. Maybe not pack so much in the van that we end up not using. It’s a learning curve I guess, didn’t realise how compact VW T4 Holdsworth conversion is. James and family thank you very much for help and friendly nature we hope to be back soon. Thanks Rick & Sharon
Peace and tranquility
When we arrived we received a warm and friendly welcome from James along with comprehensive information sheets.
We stayed for two weeks which flew by, much to our regret.....
However when it came time to leave we found we had a problem with the vans 12 pin plug connecting to the car which to cut a long story short James fixed by rewiring it for which we are eternally grateful.
To finish we had a great time and look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.

Peaceful few days in beautiful surroundings
We have just arrived home after spending a few days at Abbotts View. It is a peaceful oasis in beautiful surroundings. The welcome from James was warm, inviting and very informative. It was great being kept up to date with various events that were happening in the local area by him. Loved that this is an eco farm, from the solar panels for all the electric, to harvesting rain water for the loos…..which were both exceptionally clean, and the toilet twinning…. If you don’t know what that it is, it gives people their dignity and a better life for all. The whole site is wonderful. We were fortunate to be pitched by the fence overlooking the paddocks and our ‘ neighbours ‘ were an assortment of the most beautiful alpacas and the ducks who came to say hello! It was de-stressing just taking time to sit and watch the red kites, the kestrels and in the evening the bats.
Definitely will go again and thoroughly recommend this site.

A Little Gem
Abbots View CL is a hidden gem. Easy to get to but very peaceful, there was a warm welcome awaiting us. James was very helpful, and a great ambassador for the surrounding area, with a good knowledge of what events were happening locally during our stay.
The site is level and well draining, and the 5 pitches are well spaced. The toilets were a welcome facility, and were kept spotless. We also loved the eco credentials of this site; rainwater to flush the toilets and water heated by the sun, which also supplied the electricity.
One to return to!
Perfect site
Lovely site, very clean. Friendly owner with a lot of helpful information. A beautiful walk to the local pub across fields, where excellent food was found. A perfect weekend , thank you.
Just loved Abbotts View
Our 3 night stay was too short, we could have easily doubled that. From the welcome from James and Jo to the Alpacas it’s just a delight. The facilities are kept in pristine condition. Pitches are relatively flat and grass is well trimmed. As electric is provided as 16 amp by solar panels and battery bank it is essentially free. It is also a dog free area. There are loads of supermarkets and petrol stations in the area. Lots of POI in the area
Excellent CL
Very good welcome from James and Jo with information pack about site and surrounding pubs and area, lovely stay for six days when we went out every day to National trust properties, the site even had a visiting fish and chip van on Wednesday night and Saturday lunchtime which must be unique to a CL. We really loved the alpacas and the site. The site offered free 16amp electric and @ £18 per night all in it has to a bargain. From Brian and Daphne Roles Visited 31/7/2023— August 6th 2023
Great CL with very friendly owner
Only stayed 1 night as visiting locally. Good information from owner James with laminated sheet of info and key fob for gate. Electric provided although we didn't use it as only staying one night. Very clean loos. Lovely Farm site and well signposted footpath onto local pub. Great spot we will be back and Alpacas were interesting neighbours! Very comprehensive instructions for arrival and directions too. Thank you James!
Excellent Site
A warm welcome from James. He supplied a local map, site notes and a key fob for the gate.
Site is located nearby to several National Trust properties and Bletchley Park, (a must to visit). Flat and v. well kept
Pub nearby across the fields.
Enjoyed watching the alpacas, spotted hares and a red kite perched on a post not 10m away.
We certainly recommend this site.
