Not happy at all

We booked four nights. We arrived at 2pm but there were already six on, so there was nowhere to park.  We were very unhappy as we had been here before and liked it enough to book a return visit. We just won't bother going there again.  Don't go thinking you've booked a pitch here, they clearly don't care.

Curates Egg - good in parts

Had no issues with dogs, site tidy and quiet.Even with 6 vans pitched it wasn't cramped. Owner a bit offhand but not really rude. The approach is very tight - it's best to carry on up hill past the entrance for a couple of hundred yards to a commercial site entrance where you can swing back around and then enter the site by coming downhill and turning left.

nice cheap site shame about owner

I found the site ok for the money, however the owners daughter was very rude to us and un welcoming. the site is peaceful but sloping a bit and will take 7 to 9 caravans. No real toilet disposal point.

Dissapointed

Arrived on this CL without any problems although it is a bit tight when you turn into the drive, especially with a large outfit. The first couple of days were fine until the owners dogs were allowed to roam free on the site and leave their mess right in front of our van, so if you visit this site be careful were you walk. We stayed for twelve nights and would have stayed longer but for the fact that another caravan came and had three dogs with them which howled when the other dogs barked. One other problem was the fact that for four nights we were on site there was seven outfits including ours. Then to top it all another caravan pitched which made it eight in total. It's a shame because the site itself is quite large and with five outfits on you have plenty of space. The price per night is only £8 inc electric. So apart from the dogs and the extra vans that they allow on it would have been highly recommended.

A lovely site

We very much enjoyed staying at this site. Beach within walking distance and some nice woods to walk around right next to the site. Pitches not too sheltered so got some nice sunshine. Owners freindly and welcoming. The only downside was that the owner has a couple of dogs that roam free. Although we like dogs one of them looked a bit old and we saw him going to the toilet a lot around the site. We have young children so we couldn't have let them play outside incase they stepped in something. This wasn't an issue for us as we went out every day but thought I would mention it. All in all a lovely site and we will definitely go back.

One of our favourite sites

We love this site and have stayed several times.  The entrance is tricky so take care.  The son of the owner is very helpful indeed and last time we stayed he spent ages helping a single lady hook her caravan up so she could leave.  We love the free range hens and chickens on here.

Seventh visit or seventh heaven

What a great site, we have been visiting this site since the hedge was only little trees, with room to walk between them, the owners keep the site clean and tidy, except the entrance where they run thier full time businus of tree surgery and gardening and by the very nature there is some machinery always on show, access can be tricky but if you do as the owners suggest and go up to the big site and turn round it's much easier to enter the site going downhill, we have a very long unit and find it quite easy to enter if we do as the owners suggest, there is so much to see and do in the area with Cromer and Sheringham and miles of wonderful sand, the norfolk coast is among the best in the Country, if the owners need to cut the hedges and grass at wekends its because they work all week five vans at only £8.00 isn't going to make them a living is it, perhaps the moaning mini who complained would have prefered if the hedges were left uncut he could have moaned about that instead, but theres no pleasing some people is there

Lovely site.

There is not much I can add to what has already been said, but would agree it is a good large area separated by a well kept hedge so plenty of room.  We enjoyed seeing the chickens and ducks and didn't find them noisy at all.  I had thought that the roosters might start cock-a-doodling at break of dawn, but no. About a 20 minute walk into Cromer. Would recommend this site to anyone. I have only marked down the ease of arrival as the road and gate access are narrow.

Antonia Villa

A pretty and quiet site apart from the country noises of the resident chickens, ducks and geese, but this did not spoil my time there at all. Free range eggs for sale on site. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and would visit again :-)

New Year break 2013

Stunning site, as previously stated can be difficult to access as narrow drive. We loved the site, clean and tidy and really enjoyed the variety of animals on the land:) And there's always a great variety of eggs for sale. The owners left us to our selves but offered to help if we strugged to pull the caraven off the site due to the wet weather. Will be visiting again in May and looking forward to Xmas & New Year 2014.
