Helpful and friendly host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bee Edge from the top notch on site facilities to the delightful local area and walks. Our recent stay was during a tricky family time and Al was exceptionally helpful in trying to accommodate ourselves and our motorhome. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site.

FIRST CLASS SITE

A beautiful, peaceful site with fantastic views over to the sea. Enjoyed watching the farmers busy in the fields. This was our first visit and we will certainly return when we travel that way again. The site was well kept, clean and tidy. Electric, water, grey waste and wi-fi on every pitch. A warm welcome from Al and his baby son. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Beautiful

We stayed at Bee Edge the first week of October and can not fault it. Fully serviced pitches and wi fi made everything so convenient. The weather was very windy at times but the views are still stunning even on a cloudy day, on a sunny day they are just beautiful with blue skies and blue seas. The site photos do not actually do it justice. Al was very welcoming and available if wanted. Price was very reasonable and all communication was good and any query answered quickly. It was easy to find and well signed up. We visited the Royal Yacht, Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel as well as the local area. Just loved our stay and would happily go back if in the area.

Great Place

Our first visit at the end of September and well impressed. Made very welcome by Al who visits everyone on arrival. He is accessible during your stay for information should you wish to know anything. Leaflets are available on local information that we found extremely useful. The views are tremendous, the facilities are great, just love service pitches and good value for money. Be prepared for the wind, we weren’t and required a trip to Go Outdoors for additional storm straps for the awning. The site is open to the elements, but this is not a negative comment. Weather is something beyond any of our control!! The CL is easy to book via their website and view availability. We will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Beautiful Views and Easy Access

A very well organised and equipped site in a beautiful location with views towards the sea. St Abbs and the sea is within walking distance via Coldingham across the fields. All pitches are on hardstanding and have individual power, water and greywater drainage which is very convenient. Access is easy and I'm sure the site can be used in all weathers. Al, who runs the site, is very friendly and could not be more helpful.

Second Time Visit

This is the second time visiting Bee Edge this year it is a wonderful site with fantastic views, all service hardstanding pitches. Al is an excellent host who visits every new arrival and is very welcoming. as for the farm noise referred to in previous reviews yes there is some noise but it is a working farm an it did not bother us and we shall be returning as soon as we are able.

What a treasure!

What an amazing CL! We stayed here 5 nights and would readily have stayed longer if there had been a space. The views out to sea are stunning and ever changing depending on the weather! We enjoyed watching the farm at work with its various machinery. There is plenty to see and do - bike rides, walks and visiting villages and beaches further afield like St Abbs or the Priory at Coldingham. All pitches are fully serviced and the site is well maintained. Al is very helpful, welcoming and we enjoyed hearing about the farm and places to explore. This site has all you need for a relaxing stay - we will definitely be back.

Well kept site

Stayed here for 2 nights. Site is very well kept with water, grey water and EHU on each spacious flat pitch. The other waste facilities were tidy, well kept, and with clear instructions. The owner, Alistair, kindly checked that I had settled in OK. A great location. My only small gripe is that, considering there was no loo/shower, it was a bit expensive. Particularly for a singleton like me. There was farm traffic noise, but it didn't bother me at all. I would stay again but, because of the cost, only if i had my partner with me!
