Looking forward to a return visit

As members for 25 years I think I can safely say that we think this is the best CL we have ever stayed at. The location is ideal for a really peaceful time. The site is immaculately kept by Paul and Helen. Toilet and shower are ideal if you don't want to use your van facilities. The pitches and dog walk are well groomed by Paul and there are flowers everywhere. Places to visit are plentiful within a relatively short drive and there are plenty of them. We will definitely be paying a return visit.

VERY GLAD TO FIND

As stated above we were so lucky to find this gem of a site, we could only stay over the weekend for two nights but will visit again, Paul met us on arrival and explained where everything was, the hard standings are large but there is grass if required, the toilet and shower are excellent and everything is kept clean. A real pleasure to visit.

Brilliant Find

We stay here for the first time for 3 wonderful nights .Paul the owner was very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower was first class .Pitches are big and you all have your own water.Take your bikes and cycle to the 2 pubs as its a bit far to walk.Load's to do if you have a car or you don't mind moving your motorhome. We have a motorhome so if we went for more days we would take the car.Its that nice there we just hope once the word gets around how nice it is...we can get on again .Stayed 12th - 15th June.pitch number 5.Mr & Mrs Gravener. Thanks Paul .

What a find!

Yet another fabulous find! We have just returned from a lovely week at this CL. Paul and Helen should be extremely proud of what they have achieved. Paul was very welcoming, helpful and kept the CL/facilities to an extremely high standard. We had a beautiful outlook from our caravan window towards the hills in North Wales and were very lucky to see several amazing sunsets. There is plenty of wildlife to see especially if you take your own bird table - Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Sparrow, Blue Tits and Great Tits to name a few. This a CL we would not hesitate to return too and recommend to others. Well done!!

Beautiful little site

My wife and I visited this site in May and were lucky enough to have good weather. The Site is out in the country and is immaculate! Views over open fields to the Welsh hills make this a very relaxing place. Since the entry was made in the handbook Paul has added all hard standings, water to each pitch, a toilet and shower. Each pitch is large enough for any outfit and there is ample space between pitches. All in all an excellent site, we will return.

Date of visit 6-10 May 2014

On our arrival we were met by Paul, who made us most welcome and even helped us move our caravan around to make the most of the countryside views from the site. He then showed us the excellent facilities including the luxury toilet and shower and local information board. The dog walking area was an additional  bonus. Everything about the site was first class. Well worth the £14 per night. The site gets our recommendation and we shall return to it in the future if we are in this area again. Well done Paul and Helen you have done everything just right

Immaculaute ,quiet, positively luxurious facilities!

Paul and Helen have their personalities all over the way they have set this lovely site up. Good size pitches each with individual electricity and water. Well mown grass and hard standings, with lovely views over the fields to the Welsh Hills Fresh eggs from the hens alongside their cottage. The fully serviced 5 star bathroom and loo facility is great, Plumber Paul has installed a high quality electric shower cubicle in a warm air heated timber room, with an automated freshener and automatic lighting. Nice touches everywhere from Helen too make for a very pleasant environment . plenty of spots to explore including the charming town of Ellesmere. We found our hosts helpful.. and they are lovely people.

First stay on CL site

This was our first stay on a CL site, and we had a great weekend, lovely views, peaceful setting and the quirky shower room was a great surprise, spotless, warm and pleasant to use! Paul was welcoming on arrival and helpful too when we had a slight problem on departure! Overall a great little site with a local pub selling good food a couple of miles away. We recommend this site to anyone who wants a relaxing weekend in beautiful countryside.

A Gem of a CL

We have just returned from this CL and loved it we have only stopped on one other CL that was good but this one was very nice, with lovely views there is a plenty of space between vans more than on a club site. We are now looking when we can return to this site, the only thing on the down side is you have a drive down a lane for 1.5 miles that is narrow but we did not meet a car either way when arriving or departing. If you want a CL that is in lovely country side away from it all with peace and quiet with excellent facilities then I can recommend this site.

First Visit

A very pleasant and well kept CL site. Attention to detail and the added little extras make this a site to return to. Wish Helen and Paul all the best in their venture. Chris and John from the West Midlands
