Great site - Warm Welcome

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely CL site over Easter Warm welcome  by Paul on arrival. Electric and water on each Hardstanding pitch. Loved the summer house with information on walks and places to visit. Also the lovely homemade cakes and jams for sale. Toilet and shower facilities were quaint but always  immaculate. The site was immaculate and had many extra little touches. Lovely dog excercise area for Bentley Well worth following Paul's directions to the site. Definitely would visit again

Friendly tranquility

First visit to this site over Easter. Having enjoyed spending time at adult only sites for the last few years it was great to find a CL. We were given a warm welcome by the owners who were both helpful and friendly. Pitches are an excellent size with gravel hardstanding around which is set landscaped grass. The facilities were fantastic. My husband was particularly taken with the lovely potting shed come shower room - and the inginuity the owners had used to equip it so well. On beautiful summer days it will be an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the views over the fields.

An Oasis of calm

Ok, so we dipped our toes in the world of CL's for the very first time and Brunette Cottage was the guinea pig of our testing. What a joy to stop it was. Easy to get to and a warm welcome from Paul when we got there, A+ facilities inside the shower shed , views across the countryside and close to so many many places of interest. The lane to and past the site has very little traffic passing by. We shall return and we implore you to try it too.

Fabulous

Recently spent 3 nights on this beautiful CL. Couldn't wish for better.  The whole site is well maintained and the welcome was warm and friendly. Lots of effort put into making your stay enjoyable including free range eggs and locally baked Eccles cakes in the info hut. Take heed of Paul's advice about the best way to approach the site!

The Future

An exceptional CL, one of the new breed, 21st century, everything a member could wish for sites. Thoughtfully set out by an owner with caravanning experience, maintained to the highest standard, with a number of "extras" which takes the CL way beyond the average, and it all comes with the bonus of being child free!! Four nights was nowhere near long enough to make the best of the peace and quiet, open views and locality, so we will have to return. Thank you Mr Clarke.

great time

This is a very high standard site. Each pitch feels like it stands in it's own garden with large hard standing, beautiful lawns and flower/plant boxes, bird feeding station complete with food top up bins, all plumbed in, magnificent views of the welsh hills and the service from a first class owner. Very friendly, good information shed and a great pub at Hanmer. Lots to see and do can't wait to go back.

Another blooming break at Brunette Cottage

Fabulous again Paul and Helen!! This is the most remarkable CL. Paul and Helen show love and dedication to their paradise and we are lucky enough that they share it with us. The ducks, chickens and birds are enough entertainment through the day, but should you wish to venture out for the day Paul's summer house is full of local information and a HUGE map!! The summer house also has their free range eggs and local jam on sale, as well as housing useful bits like duct tape, and books and dvd's for those not so sunny days. Each time we visit Paul and Helen they have added another piece to their wonderful CL, whether it is a new flower pot or light, new gate latch, new chairs at the summer house; it doesn't really matter because everything Brunette Cottage do is because they love it. Brunette Cottage is fabulous, you feel at home and are welcomed by relaxed and friendly owners. There is nothing more enjoyable than arriving, seeing what little tweaks they have done and spotting my name on the pitch. I love coming to Brunette cottage, the bathroom is always spotless, the grass always short, the flowers always blooming and the birds always singing. It's most definitely my favourite CL.

A Relaxing Stop Over

We stopped here for one night as a start of our 2 week tour of Wales. We were met by Paul who was extremely welcoming. Spacious pitches with the added touch of your name on a slate board at the pitch. All pitches well placed as not intrude with each other. Bird feeders all over the site which attracted a multitude of birds including a woodpecker! Information shed full of goodies, dvd's, and local produce. Shower / shed, lovely and novel. Will definately stop here again and its is well worth the accolade of the 3rd best CL. If this is the 3rd I have definately got to see the 1st. Puts most club sites to shame.

Wonderful site

Just returned from a weeks stay on this wonderful site. There is nothing to fault here.  Each pitch has water, hook up and a bird feeding station. Very well cared for clean , immaculate site not a weed in sight.  Paul and Helen have thought of everything.  We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, saw a Woodpecker but missed the Jay.  The photos do not lie ! It really is as good as it looks.  Well done Paul and Helen you have done an incredible job - long may you continue.
