One of the best

My wife and I stayed on this site in June for a week and if you like CL sites you will love this one. Paul and Helen should be proud of what they have achieved in a short period of time. This site is excellent, and the attention to detail is superb. Its nice and quiet and its spotless. The pitches are hard standing and spacious. If you like wildlife especially birds its paradise with bird feeders dotted all over the site and an abundance of woodpeckers that feed daily. We were also fortunate to see a Jay on the last day. We would recommend this site to anybody who likes the great outdoors as we do. Please support CL sites they are there for our enjoyment and you will enjoy this one. We hope to be going back in the future. Well done Paul and Helen.

Better everytime time

Stayed for another 2 nights last week and everytime we stay Paul and Helen have added something extra to make the site even better.The addition of the information shed is wonderful with leaflets,books,dvd's and produce for sale.We are booked for 4 nights again in August to this superb cl.

fantastic

if you've never stayed on a cl site before I suggest that you try this one. What a fantastic site and a credit to Paul and Helen. they have both put a lot of thought into the site, big hard standing pitches, spotless toilet and shower room, information room in a summer house, great views from every angle wherever you are pitched. bird feeders on every pitch along with your own name plates. and what a welcome we received nothing was too much trouble for them. the site is a credit to the owners.

Come and see Pauls big ball cock

This site is a credit to the ownwers. Large hard stands (proper not road plannings). Tap on each pitch, warm welcome, clean toilet and shower, lots of information in a nice summer house.Plenty to do in area, a brilliant pub 5 minutes drive away.What more can one ask. If you visit you will see what I mean about Pauls big ball cock.

Best so far.

I have not been to many CL sites so I hope that they are all as good as Brunette cottage. Paul met me and advised me on the best position to set up my caravan for the best view and he got it spot on. Peace and quiet, spotless shower room. Lots of local info. Looking for other sites but I will also be looking to return for another break at this superb site.

Great CL

Admittedly we have not used many CL's and having seen this one in the magazine thought we would not get on but we did and how glad we were too. Great site with easy access from the lane and to each of the large pitches, we got on here with no issues with a twin axle outfit. The owner is very friendly and puts a lot of effort into the site which shows. Nice touchs with each pitch having a fully stocked bird feeder, blooming planters. And the toilet & shower shed is excellent. This site is a credit to the owners and we will definitely return.

A credit to the owners

We arrived at this site on Friday pm to the welcome of the owner. The owners have made this into a perfect C.L. the toilet is spotlessly clean and as has been said in other reviews that the shed that is the shower and toilet room has to seen it holds so much. The site is kept immaculate, the dog walk is excellent and saves having to walk along the lanes. This is how a C.L should be as in how it is kept. We would not look for a Loo and shower in a C.L and we would not usually pay £16 a night for a C.L , but that said it is a credit to them. Well done.

Perfect Site

Brilliant CL immaculately kept with spacious pitches. The shower room (Tardis) has to be seen to be believed! Lovely little touches-everywhere even christmas lights. Excellent little dog walking area. Owners could'nt be more helpful. Great area for cycling and walking. We will certainly be returning.

Stayed for another three nights here last weekend (our 5th visit this year).Superb site and top class facilities and very welcoming owners. Congratulations once again on your award of 3rd place but definitely should have had 1st! See you in 2015
