Another delightful stay!

Just returned from another great stay at this CL. As always the site and facilities were immaculate, thanks to the continuing hard work by Paul and Helen. There are so many places of interest to visit from this site and we even travelled to Conway for an extremely blustery day out! Try the Two Doves coffee and gift shop in Overton if you love your coffee as much as we do: you won't be disappointed. They also do a wonderful all-day breakfast. Thanks again to Paul who really helped us out when our car tyre was sheared. Can't wait to spend more time at Brunette Cottage CL in the future.

A tranquil and idylic CL

This CL certainly lives up to all our expectations, what a pleasure to stay here. Helen and Paul keep this site immaculate in every way. And the summer house is a treasure trove of information. You won't be disappointed. Carole & Mo.

The Most Perfect CL Site

We've just spent the most wonderful 4 nights on this beautiful site. Everything about it is simply perfect. The site owners, Paul and Helen should be incredibly proud of their efforts. A beautiful spot in a beautiful part of the country. We were sad to leave but will be making a return visit in the autumn.

Anniversary Weekend

Beautiful well kept site and extremely welcoming.. The little touches like bird feeders at your pitch and bird feed supplied with the added bonus of a lovely shower& WC where if you didn’t know better once inside you could have been in a 4 star hotel bathroom 😊 We couldn’t have picked a better site to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary & site owners Paul & Helen thank you for making our stay so special 🥰 We will be returning in 2022…

Just beautiful and peaceful

This was our first visit and will definitely return. The site is beautiful and so well cared for and is a credit to the owners Paul and Helen. Everything at Brunette Cottage speaks cleanliness and care. So much thought has gone into making this site “a little gem”. Amazing evening sunsets and lovely peaceful surroundings. We loved it here..... special thanks Karen & Paul.

Brilliant find

What a great find this sight is ,Paul was very welcoming and really looks after the site its a credit to is hard work .Pitches where big and plenty of room ,At the time paul was working on shower shed but that was no problem (its the best shed i have ever seen ) in all was a brilliant stay .we will be going back that is a promise . cheers Paul

Beautiful Site

What a wonderful place this is! Immaculate site with beautifully laid out spacious pitches. Washroom is beautiful and the summer hut with the information leaflets is really useful. The site is easy to find and there is loads to do in the area. Whitchurch, Ellesmere, Wrexham and Llangollen are all within easy distance. The site is a real credit to Paul and Helen and they deserve all the awards. We look forward to our return visit..

Attention to detail

The attention to detail given by the owners of Brunette Cottage CL is exceptional. Nothing is left to chance including bird food supplied for feeders on each individual pitch aptly named after a bird. The thought and care applied to all aspect of the CL is a credit to the time and effort put in to maintain the standard achieved. We will look forward to our next visit.

COVID comment

We consider ourselves ‘regulars’ having visited well over a dozen times. Always need superlatives when commenting. I thought I would add today, that following our visit this week, their attention to coronavirus protection is excellent. From sanitisers alongside the site gates, bin area, loo/shower, waste disposal area. First class and very reassuring. Thank you. PS Wipes adjacent to the croquet lawn fantastic !

Great place to relax

We had a wonderful time at Brunette Cottage, and excellent location to stay and explore the local area. The facilities were excellent and always clean. Loved the little summerhouse, where you could buy some tasty cakes or borrow some tools, which was a lovely touch. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming, would definitely recommend and visit again. Pitches are fairly level, hardstanding gravel with electric and separate water tap.
