Another lovely stay!

Had another wonderful 5 nights at this great site. This was our second visit and as experienced before, the site and facilities were immaculate and that is down to the hard and consistent work of Paul, the owner. Well done! We will be back.

What Else Could You Wish For?

We have stayed on this site many times and when you think it can’t get better we are always surprised to find that when we visit again it has! When you first arrive your first welcome is to find your name and pitch on a beautiful Welcome Board. The site is always in first class condition, the grass neatly cut, the flowers well tended and the hard standings providing water and electricity. The bathroom is really clean, has a shower with plenty of hot water and has some tasteful features, notices to make you smile and flowers to add to the decor. Paul is a real gentleman and always has time to meet you and help with any problems you may have. There is a hut where you can get fresh eggs and cakes and an Honesty Box to pay for them. We have been many times and hope that we shall visit on more occasions in the future The views from the site are lovely. If you’re looking for tranquillity and good old fashioned courtesy then head for Brunette Cottage!

An Amazing Site

A gem of a site - we only stayed for three nights, but wished it could have been longer. It has everything you could possibly want and the extra touches make it a very special place. So good we have just nominated it for CL of the Year.

Beautiful Site

Brunette Cottage is a beautiful site, nothing is out of place. BIG pitches so you have plenty of space around you. So handy having your own direct feed water supply and of course the EHU. Its so quaint that all the pitches have bird names, we stayed on Woodpecker pitch. We were there for 10 nights. The washroom facilities are beautifully kept, clean and the underfloor heating?? WOW such luxury!!! The site is down a long country road with a few farms and lots of fields so right out in the country, At night you can hear the owls and daytime sees a variety of different birds feeding on the bird feeders on each pitch. There is a corner of the site dedicated to dog walking but this is on lead, but you can walk down the land a short way and go into a field for some off-lead fun. Our dogs loved this. There are several walks around the area with your four-legged friend(s) A fabulous site well worth a visit and we'll definitely be back to see Paul and Helen again. Oh, and there are fresh eggs provided by the on-site resident chicks and locally cakes to buy too!!!

Excellent CL

We have just returned from this fabulous site, having stayed for a week. Full credit to Paul and Helen who own and run this CL. All pitches are hard standing and fully serviced, with gorgeous views westwards, (sunsets to die for) Facilities are kept spotless, and a well stocked information sumerhouse. Many thanks for a lovely stay, and keep up the good work. Kindest regards, Chris and Jeff Dixon.

Lovely Site

We have just returned from a two night stop at Brunette Cottages. What a lovely place all very well turned out. Lovely area. We took a twenty minute walk down the lane to the bus stop then spent day in Whitchurch, came back and chilled outside in the quiet relaxed tranquil site. Paul and Helen were very helpful. The little shower room was fab and very ncely turned out. Felt like home from home. Thank you so much. Terina and Mark Hounsell xx

Little Gem of a Site

Just returned from the most relaxing and stunning break at this site. Can fully understand why they keep winning the awards. The warmest of greetings and the personal touch of showing your around. The Summer House of information containing everything from information, places to eat, games, books, dvds, tools in such a lovely layout, with the added bonus of homemade fresh cakes and fresh laid eggs. Outstanding. The Toilet and Shower facilities, where the owner said its simply a shed.... well this shed was stunningly gorgeous, a lovely clean toilet, with fresh flowers and so fresh, spotless beyond believe. The lovely dog walk area was great for the dogs to pound around to their hearts content, but they loved to stare at the cows starring at them. A nice stroll off the site was great to with the dogs, when we were told we were a little mmm, lets see, but it was in itself great, a simple out of the gate turn right then simply left left left and left..... the sights and area where great, a lovely afternoon stroll in a beautiful location. The whole site was so exquiste, so clean, tidy with beautiful flowers throughout. So, thankyou Paul and Helen for the experience of your site, we will be back and cannot wait to hear about the many more awards that you will win x

Amazing site

Just had three wonderful nights at this site. Paul was there to meet us and show us around this beautiful site. It has everything you could possibly need. We had a problem with our electric cable whilst there and Paul did everything he could to help us. No wonder they keep winning awards! Cannot wait to return.
