An extremely peaceful and beautiful site

Mid March, weather forecast horrible, we booked our VW campervan in for two nights. We were welcomed at the gate by Paul who gave a very friendly and informative welcome to the site. The site itself is surrounded by farmland, wildlife and (when we were there) sheep. The site is beautifully kept by Paul with mowed grass and potted plants there are also lots of bird boxes leading to many species to watch around the site. Close to Whitchurch, Bangor on Dee and Malpas there is a lot to do nearby. The weather could not dampen our spirits at this wonderful site.

Attention to Detail

This CL is immaculately kept by Paul and Helen. We visited in February when sites generally don't look their best; but that didn't matter here as it was fantastic! The shower and toilet facilities are excellent; they have done an incredible job getting these into a 8 x 6 shed. We will definately visit again and we look forward to seeing the site during the Spring and Summer as it must be stunning.

What a find.

This was our first visit to a CL site and the bar has set very high. We arrived at this fantastic little site and was met by Paul who was out mowing the grass. He welcomed us and showed us to our pitch and showed us around the facilities. This site has it all. Views, piece and tranquillity and a warm welcome. The little summer house with information and it cakes was lovely. This place is a little gem and we can't wait to go back. Thanks Paul for making us so welcome. David & Diane Bailey

Simply the best

This site is perfect for us and our dogs, with the wonderful dog area, Roscoe and Minnie really enjoyed playing in there with Eric and Hattie their new friends.  For the humans there are beautiful views from your caravan and it felt like you each have your own garden with flowers and pots all around.   The washroom was lovely, always clean and tidy with a vase of flowers in the corner (lovely touch).  Paul and Helen really do a good job to keep the whole site looking lovely (can see why they won an award last year, wish it wasn't too late to vote for this year, would definitely have got ours).  loved it so much, we have booked for Christmas.  Well done and we will see you soon. Deb, Steve, Minnie and Roscoe.

Simply stunning

This was the first time we stayed at this site. We only stayed two nights because the weekend was booked up. We liked the site so much that we booked again for a further nine nights following the weekend. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, the site is immaculate and the facilities are spotless. Paul, the site owner was very welcoming and very helpful. It is immediately obvious that Paul and his wife take great pride in their site. There are bird tables, water and  EHU on every pitch and decorative plants on well-kept lawns. Pitches are gravel and there is a designated dog-walking area.  There is a small information Centre that has books and DVDs that you can borrow, fresh eggs and most importantly fresh home-made cakes every day. Truly delicious. This will become a regular haunt for us.
