5 day stopover at the end of june

A lovely site with open views over the country side, was made very welcome on arrive and shown the facilities on site, all very clean and well appointed. Eggs, Cakes and preserves available for purchase in the summer house. Hard standing pitches with grass surrounds which were well kept. Would be very happy to use this site again.

Perfect!

Booked only one night here as a stop over, due to a problem with our motorhome we arrived late, spoke to the owner who said we could arrive at any time and explained which pitch was ours. Met the owner in the morning who was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn't stay very long in the morning due to continuing our trip. We will definitely be booking back in for a longer stay next time. The facilities are excellent and much better than expected! Thank you

Just Beautiful

Just spent a few days at Brunette Cottage. Friendly welcome from the owners. Lovely well maintained site with views of the surrounding countryside, handy for local attractions. National Trust properties of Erdigg and Chirk a short drive away. Malpas is close by with chippy, Coop and a couple of tea rooms. The Boat at Erbistock is worth a visit (probably bet to book). Good TV reception and the facilities are immaculate. Highly recommended.

Best site yet!

Lovely warm welcome.  A beautifully clean and well kept site.  Paul was waiting on our arrival and showed us our pitch. Pitches are all hard standing and nice and spacious. Fantastic views and some excellent walks.  Paul was very knowledgable about places to visit. Summer house with jams, cakes and eggs was very welcome with loads of information and a selection of books and DVD available. The toilet and shower room were spotless with a vase of fresh flowers, one of several very nice touches. Dogs are very welcome on this site with an exercise area and dog bin, again all very well kept. The grass is regularly cut with no loose cuttings to drag into the van.  This has to be the best site we have ever been on with the most helpful and friendly owners we have met. Thank you......you have our vote!

PARADISE

This was our first visit and we were very pleased with everything about this site. Nothing you can complain about, because it was maintained to a very high standard.Paul and Helen were so nice and friendly, and Paul showed us where the facilities were on arrival. The toilet and shower were spotless, and the information hut was great, full of leaflets, books, and dvd plus cakes and eggs. We thought the box will odds and sods was also very thoughtful, because you do not always carry duck tape and Wd40 on you travels.Hopefully after all the great reviews we will be able to book a pitch for another visit

OUTSTANDING !!!

After over 5 years of using CL's regularly, "Brunette Cottage" is without doubt the most welcoming, cleanest and with the extra touches as mentioned on previous reviews - fully deserving of its Award status!!        "Well Done" to Helen and Paul - you have established a really very special CL.

Immaculate

Having just spent two nights at Brunette Cottage I can say that this is the best CL site we have been to. The site is immaculately kept and there is a very friendly atmosphere about the place. The toilet and shower is in a lovely little shed and everything was so clean. There is also a summerhouse where you can swap books and DVD's. There is also homemade jams, chutneys, eggs and cakes for sale using an honesty box. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning.
