We were made very welcome on arrival. All previous reviews say it all - extremely well maintained site. Shower is first class and the site is very well maintained. Good location for visiting York, with plenty of information available on the site. Also the site is very spacious. Well done on winning Northern Regional CL of the year award.

Another Wonderful Stay

Just returned from another lovely stay .This site is the tops peace and quiet and so clean, WELL DONE Wendy she really works hard to keep it like it is, its very near the park and ride into York which is also great and while in the area a visit to The Yorkshire Air Museum is well worth it. We look forward to another visit . ,

The best we have ever stayed on

This site is everything we wish for with a CL. We found Wendy to be the perfect host as she presented a lovely and peaceful location. The facilities were immaculate and well kept and the position of the CL for York was perfect. We particullaly enjoyed the 2 cats who each morning sat on our caravan steps soaking up the sun.

We didn't want to leave 😞

What a lovely CL! I had booked last year but due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn't go but the owners honoured our deposit this year. The site itself is quiet, clean and the facilities are spot on. The owners had someone looking after it while they were away and they were helpful yet not intrusive. We used the park and ride at the designer outlet to go into York every day. It cost £5.80 return for the two of us and they were frequent both ways. We had such a lovely time that we were disappointed to leave. Fantastic place!

Fabulous site

Really impressed with the quality of the site, the toilet facilities, and the peace and quiet. Best shower we have ever had camping. Lovely to see the animals in adjacent fields and to buy fresh free range eggs. Would recommend whole-heartedly as we are unlikely to find a better site anywhere.

The Best CL we have ever used....WITHOUT DOUBT

We stayed here in our motorhome for 3 days. It is without doubt the best CL we have ever used. I am a campsite warden and know just how hard it is to maintain a site. Wendy is lovely and we received a warm and friendly welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for Wendy. The shower room is perfect with a lovely shower & toilet and a separate toilet is also available. Good information room with eggs and jams/chutneys for sale. Wifi is good. We are so glad we chose Field House Farm and would recommend it to everyone.

Always a pleasure

We have stayed here several times now and it is the best site we have stayed on. The Farm is in a beautiful piece of countryside with a relaxed and quiet atmosphere, The shower/toilet block and separate toilet are immaculate and very modern. The pitches are very spacious and level and there are plenty of water points and very cleverly hidden waste section. All in all the site is fantastic and Wendy and Stuart are very helpful and approachable and nothing is too much trouble and my two Daughters and become friends with there Daughter Hannah so it is always a pleasure to visit and we are looking forward to many more enjoyable stays to come.....Also I must mention the Fresh Eggs and Home Made Chutneys and Jams...... Delicious !!

FABULOUS What a wonderful site a real gem

Its impossible to say anything against this site facilities are lovely and spotlessly clean, the grass is well cut, its very peaceful and Wendy is friendly and helpful, as well as toilet and shower facilities Wendy has a very good information room and lovely fresh eggs for sale, a well deserved winner of C.L. of 2015.We will certainly be visiting again and very much look forward to our return.

Fantastic peacefull site

We have just spent three days with our motorhome at this wonderful CL site which was all Wendy describes her site as having and well worth its accolade of being the CL site of 2015. Its log cabin shower and toilet facilities are first class. Wendy met us as we pulled in and showed us around, when we asked about getting the bus into York she said the main road was rather dangerous as there was no foot path and even offered to run us into the park and ride and pick us up if we did not want to take our motorhome into the car park. We however decided to take our motorhome into the car park on two days we visited York city rather than take her up on her kind offer, it just goes to show how much she cares for her guests and their happiness in their stay. Well recommended. We will be back next year. Keep up the good work Wendy

Top Billing CL

Stayed on this wonderful site in early June of 2016 we were greeted with a warm smile and given a choice of pitches with the offer of further assistance should we require it, this is an owner who knows how to treat the customer and is concerned that you enjoy your stay. The shower and toilet facilities are second to none and kept spotlessly clean, it iwas apparent from the outset that the owners are deservedly proud of the site and constantly strive for the highest standard and are much deserved winners of the 2015 CL of the year Certainly gets our vote and a return visit is a must.
