Great CL for visiting Lincoln

Well organised secure and relaxing CL. Fully serviced pitches well laid out. Fair price. Lovely helpful owner. Only gripe is fresh cut grass left on area surrounding vans. Ends up in the vans. I would recommend Sky Barn.

Great site

Have been to Skybarn a few times and never disappointed. We stayed over Christmas was welcomed by Nicola with home made mince pies. It's a great site with lots of walks for those with dogs have re-booked again

Don't want to give a good review

I really don't want more people to know about this site. It's quite often fully booked and we want to come back again and again and again! You know those owners who come to be "friendly" and you just wish they'd go away? That's not Nicola!! She almost always comes around to say welcome but is never intrusive. As I say, the site is often fully booked - and deservedly so. Their Anytime booking account works brilliantly though. You can see just what space is available and when. There is great pre-arrival information and the site is immaculate with pitches well up to Club site standards - and exceeding some. Showers and toilets? I mentioned that to Nicola and the reply was "It'll be a cold day in hell before..." I can see why. Their standards are set so high that they would need to be in there for ever, cleaning and tidying. Moving to an adult-only site is neutral so far as we are concerned. I quite like children! Lincolnshire soil is quite rich in clay so if it is wet you do quite seriously need to keep off the grass. Nicola advises that you use your motor mover to get the van onto the hardstanding if possible. If you have an awning, this could lead to issues with parking the car, though the good, level pitches are quite generous in size, so you'll cope! And I'm now off to buy the kit to make use of their fully serviced pitches! We have family reasons for being in Lincoln so we can't usefully comment on the local facilities. There ARE other nice CLs in the area, many of them above average. But Skybarn Farm is always the first choice

Very Nice CL near Lincoln

We have just returned from a 3 night stay - agree with other reviews, this CL is certainly worth consideration if you are planning a break near Lincoln. Before arrival you are sent comprehensive information from the CL owner - this is a really nice touch The CL is easy to find situated just off the A46, and access is via a security gate (Keycode) the pitching area is well laid out, all pitches are hardstanding and fully serviced, the grass on the CL is kept nice and tidy and grass is collected. There is a really good information hut onsite, giving plenty of info about the local area including pubs, restaurants, etc. There is very slight road noise during the day due to the proximity of the A46, but this was not an issue at any time during our stay. No toilet or shower, so be prepared to use your caravan facilities The CL is going to be Adult only from the 2020 season This is a great base to explore Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

A great stay

First outing with our new puppy to get him used to our motorhome & it could not have been any better!.Immaculate site,with all facilities on hand,good welcome and great walks for the dog. Would thoroughly recommend this CL.

Superb

Can't add any more to what others have said. It is excellent, well kept and very well organised. We only stayed one night as it was a stop over on our way to Yorkshire but will return again one day

Lovely CL

A very nice and pretty site, easily one of the nicest we've been on. A pleasant welcome with lots of info in the hut. Good services on the pitch and immaculately kept.

Great first site

Owners very welcoming, site well maintained , like the serviced pitches Many thanks to the fellow caravaners from Durham and Shropshire who helped us with the water pump issue and donated a waste pipe (will need to get float valve for water now, anything for an easy life!) Great walks for our dogs, village of Heighlington has a very nice circular walk and good coffee. shop

Perfect!

This was a perfect site. Well placed for visiting Lincoln and the surrounding area. Easy to access. Serviced pitches made life so easy. Site very well maintained and owner friendly and helpful. I can fully recommend the site to anyone wanting to stay in the area.
