Recommended, well worth a visit

Beautiful location with easy access onto such well manicured lawned grass. Fully serviced pitches all with loads of space. Very hospitable owners who maintain the area to highest of standards. We stayed for 2 weeks and lifted our awning mat regularly to help keep the grass in good order. Such a pleasurable stay on probably one of the best CL’s we’ve ever been on.

Gem of a site

Spent 2 weeks over Easter at Swanley House, 4x adults, 2 kids and a dog in 2 caravans taking up 2 pitches. The site is probably one of the most well kept CL’s we’ve stayed on with very friendly ant attentive hosts with the added bonus of running water and drainage on each pitch. We would all highly recommend this site, many thanks to John and Kath.

Club site quality

Arrived on season opening day to find an immaculately manicured sward of grass stretching away from the easily accessible gate. Local roads too were perfectly caravan friendly. Our allocated pitch number was on the gate and Mrs Hulme joined us, just as we had unhitched. The size of the pitches is amazing, meaning that later in the season, it should be easy to avoid any worn areas, whist still having direct connection to the tap and grey water drain. We were warned that it may be a little soft due to recent rain but we found it fine for the duration of our 5 night stay, despite two nights more rain. This really is a top site, probably the best we have been to over many years. Nice owners, immaculate disposal facilities, quiet apart from the odd farm tractor on the road, ducks and other wild fowl making their way to the picturesque pond down by pitch 5 and generally, a great place for a short or long stay. We would highly recommend this site, and would love to return in mid season, just to relax in beautiful countryside and go and explore the nearby canal towpath this time.

A really lovely CL

A really well manicured site. Level, grass pitches with fresh water and grey disposal on pitch. Really peaceful. Within 10 minute drive of the Hack Green secret bunker, which is worth a visit. We will be back.

Perfect weekend stay

We arrived around 7is and our pitch number was on the gate so we knew exactly where to go. This is an outstanding site with a beautifully manicured lawn. The owners are so friendly and helped us out with directions to the nearest pub along the canal. We had a really peaceful and enjoyable weekend, we will definitely be return to Swanley House very soon!!

Absolutely Excellent!

Have stayed here previously and enjoyed it so much, we booked again. The owners are delightful and the CL is immaculate!! Even the fish in the pond are friendly and as they're pets they're not for hooking! Great location, superb countryside location and we had a great stay and will visit again.

Lovely site, great area

John and Kath’s site is beautiful with pitches on grass/lawn backing onto a hedge well spaced out and overlooking shrubs and a pond complete with ducks and fish. Location is easy to find and central for a number of places of interest. We visited Chester using park and ride which was very easy and well worth a visit. We clambered up Beeston Castle with amazing views across 8 counties. Nantwich Whitchurch and Hack Green Secret Bunker were useful on wet days and the tow path just behind the site is beautiful for a walk during an evening with locks nearby adding interest. If canals are your thing Audlem is well worth a visit with 15 locks ! If visiting Cheshire Swanley House could well be ideal and would recommend without hesitation

Tranquil CL close to the canal

A stunningly well maintained and most attractive CL. Adjoining the canal, with lovely towpath walks. Each grass pitch has its own water point along with grey waste disposal and of course hook up. Very friendly owners and the only thing they ask is that you respect the grounds and dispose of your rubbish and recycling properly. Green fluid to be used. Keep to the higher ground when driving on site especially in wet weather. Highly recommended and an enjoyable place to stay

Beautifully Kept CL

This is an impeccably kept lawned CL and very well organised . Each pitch has 16 amp hook up and its own water tap. The chemical waste disposal is clean and pleasant to use (green toilet fluid only). Adjacent to the canal for off site walking and this is brilliant if you have a dog. The pub is a 20 minute walk down the road and the Indian takeaway will deliver to you. Nantwich is a 2 mile drive. Great for walking or cycling and in normal times visiting the many local attractions.

A wonderful site for all ages!

Swanley House is a fantastic CL with the pitches all very well spaced, fully serviced set along one side of a beautiful and very extensive garden. We visited with family including 2 young children with bicycles for the bank holiday weekend. Fortunately there were other children on the site, also with bicycles which could have been a nuisance for other residents. However, the site is so large the children were able to play and cycle around the pond without causing disturbance to other caravanners. It was absolutely perfect, the children enjoyed themselves and the parents (and grandparents) could relax!. John and Kath are excellent hosts and made us all very welcome, fortunately John's beautifully manicured grass survived! Looking forward to our next visit.
