Great CL

We stayed for 8 nights recently and all I can say is wonderful owners who couldn't be more helpful, wonderful location, and we were fortunuate wonderful weather. An ideal location for touring with Chester, North Wales and Liverpool all within reasonable distance. We definately recommend this site and look forward to revisiting.

first timer

THis was the first CL we`ve ever stayed at despite having been CC members for over 10 years ! Most of our stays have been on rallies with the East Kent Centre. If this is what most CL`s are like then now we know what all the enthusiam for them is about. I can see what we`ve been missing ! Swanley House is a very large one , well laid out and maintained. John welcomed us like old friends even though we`ve never met before. We had a "bit" of trouble with our `van,( the on board charger failed). He advised us of where we could get a replacement battery as ours had died. ( We went to Leisure Sales in Sandbach, where if you mention that you`re a CC member you can get a discount !) and lent us a charger so as we could use our pump etc. If we go back up that way again we will certainly use Johns site again! GREAT SITE

Great site, owner and large pitches what more do you want. Great walks on your door step. Still only £13 a night which is great value. The site was full when we stay but never seemed full. Had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

A quiet week away

We spent 7 nights at this lovely little CL, just after the Easter weekend. For most of the week, there were only 3 units on site, but there is enough room to spread out even if it had been full. Pitches are spacious and level, on grass. Pitching our Porch Awning was no problem. You can hear the tractors going up and down the lane during the day, but this is the countryside, so you expect that. A CL to which we will definitely return.

The cost was £13 per night, so they may have taken note of the last reviewers comments. With a £15k Caravan or thereabouts, would it REALLY matter whether it was £12, £13 or £14 per night?

Lovely site

We have stayed on this site 3 times, its easy for us to get to and only about 1 Hour from home so good for us for weekends. The site owner is very welcoming and his wife is very helpful and friendly when I have called to book a pitch. They have the usual things on site, EHU, Grey water disposal and Toilet disposal. The town of Nantwich is only a few miles away which has a market on Saturdays, Nantwich is also a nice small town. There is a lovely pond on site which has ducks that visit. there is a canal at the back of the pitches where you can have a nice walk. The only problem for us is that it is going up to £14 a night for 2013 which we think is a bit steep,it is at present £12.
