What an amazing site this is in every possible way. - we booked it as a base for visiting family in Woolwich, but the site is also so convenient for getting into central London. Bus stops & train station are only & few minutes walk away, as are numerous shops and a Sainsbury supermarket. There’s a small dog walk area on site, but the old Abbey fields are again only a few minutes walk away with so much detailed info on the Abbey. We’d read so much about this site but expected it to be a lot of hype - we were wrong. This is a superb value for money location, with very friendly and helpful site wardens. - This is definitely on our ‘visit again’ list.
