Having read all the reviews we were full of anticipation for our visit to this site. We were not disappointed. Certainly the best site we have stayed in for town/city location. We hoped not to repeat our Tewkesbury horror experience (our habitation check confirmed the damage caused on our roof!) and Abbey Wood came up trumps. We couldn't fault the staff, the location and the fantastic bird song that was as varied and exotic as the parakeets. Yes, it's a bit of a hike back up the hill but the convenience of the station, taxis etc puts the site back on our to do list for our motorhome. Thank you again for your care and attention to detail.
