Stayed at Abbey Wood for 2 nights in November. Rates site as 'excellent' due to location and friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness of wardens and other staff - thank you! Good sized pitches in woodland about 45 minutes from central London using Thameslink trains from Abbey Wood station; note that this route will soon be upgraded as on Cross-City line! Showers/toilets etc. spotlessly clean and whole site a credit to staff. Note; suggest visitors follow road signs to site rather than descend down Knee Hill as turn into Federation Road is somewhat tight! May need to book well in advance due to proximity and ease of access to capital!
