Good for families

Enjoyable stay, suits singles or mature couples / friends.

There’s no doubt this site is great for visits to Brighton, although within a short walk to the beach my personal opinion is it’s not ideally suited to families, it has a mature feel, although there is plenty of space immediately outside the site for ball games. The access road does have some pot holes which look to be marked for repair, but note this is very dark with virtually no street lighting after daylight has ceased. There’s a decent Co-Op (Whitehawk Road) & Asda (Marina) for supplies. You can catch a bus from Whitehawk Road/Co-Op straight through the town centre (Pier or Pavillion) all the way to Portslade/Shoreham. Uber taxis are the easiest method if you have the App for travelling about. But then if you bring your cycles there are routes both ways, East - the under cliff route to Rottingdean & beyond or West - all the way along the see front passing the Western Esplanade close onto South Basin Road, stopping at Carats Cafe for refreshments. The site itself is clean, tidy all in line with the clubs standards & the wardens were attentive & friendly.
