We arrived late Friday pm 11-15 December 2019, terrible weather & traffic over the M62 and phoned ahead to apologise, the staff were very helpful and understanding, they stayed a bit later while we groped around in the wind rain and DARK! so we could let them know our pitch details. The facilities were excellent, the standard you would expect. Access to Bury market is very good walk, bus or train in summer. Wifi for free is weak and distance a real choker, but it is a very small glass with lots of straws in it and open to hacking so I don't us it, just have my data topped up on my phone so I don't have to blame the site for no internet access. A great position and the pub on site is excellent with wholesome well priced food. Even in mid December a good clean standard even in atrocious weather, puddles? really?
