April Visit

Just returned from a 4 night stay. The site is in a fabulous location well within easy walking distance into the village and its attractions, shops and pubs. Lots to do in the surrounding area, we visited Weston-super-Mare, Wells, Street (and shopping village) and Bath. The site itself is down a narrow access road and there was a bit of noise from both the football ground and traffic on the main road. Although there are plenty of family attractions in the area there isn't a play area or open space for ball games etc. for children.

Lovely site, well kept great staff

Great location for trips into the Mendips or to Western, lovely site well kept with friendly staff. No complaints at all.

Fantastic

we stayed Easter weekend 2016, loved it, two young boys who loved it too,very clean and wardens were brilliant, really helpfull with all the info we needed. Perfect for chedder gorge, and got the bus to wookey hole. Thankyou for a fabulous start to our holiday.

What a Gem

We were able to get a very late 2 night stay on Good Friday by telephoning the site direct. Very helpful wardens who were jovial on arrival. Having come across country to avoid the Easter traffic jams, the entry to the site was easy. What a great location, not just for Cheddar gorge, but near to family in Bristol for the future. We will return to this absolute gem of a site.

A nice site well located, very friendly wardens. Would stay here again.

Lovely site

We found this to be a lovely site with excellent wardens who were very helpful - they even had the bus timetables all printed out ready for us, with buses to Weston and Wells only a short walk away. Wifi was excellent and with the TV on cables there were no problems with that either. The local village was very pretty and had everything you could need. Would definitely stay there again.

Good three day stay

I know we were lucky with the March weather and it did help in making our 3 night stay a pleasure well first morning sitting outside for breakfast cannot be bad in anybody's book can it. Only a short walk to two shops (Tesco & Sainsbury's) for all the stuff we campers need. Bus stops about 5 mins walk to Wells or Weston every hour a great service this is. If you go to Wells call in to the Parsons café for a coffee at only £1 and a large hot pasty for £1.50 and both were very enjoyable and close to the centre of town and the cathedral.

A Lovely Visit

Just returned from a 2 night say on this site, I must say it was a wonderful site and so close to Cheddar village (5 min walk) we did the gorge walk which is 4 miles and it was fantastic great weather as well for mid March, Dog loved it as well he had a great walk just outside the site entrance along the river, will definitely be back for a longer stay next time.

Nice site.

Lovely site let down by not enough showers a busy spell would be a problem but as it was not they were fine. Clean tidy and warm in the toilets washing up area clean as were the water area and waste disposal. Getting in a little tricky but managed ok. A nice spot with lots to do around the area. Not family friendly though but we were able to walk out dogs along the line. We would go again for a short break.

Peaceful two day break

This site was most pleasant, with good views, a chiming church bell and at night, silence except for the owls. Couldn't be better! The facilities were excellent. Close to so many interesting places.
