Great site. Another lovely stay.

We visit this site every year, always staying for a week or more. The pitches are are large and mostly hardstanding. Charlie and his wife Michelle (The owners) are extremely friendly and very helpful as are the wardens. The site is constantly maintained to an extremely high standard with well cut grass and trimmed hedges. As a fisherman I thoroughly enjoy the two lakes which are well stocked with hard fighting fish. The facilities although, quite new, have recently been upgraded and are excellent. They are kept immaculately clean. A superb site for a relaxing peaceful holiday.Highly Recommended.

Quiet weekend

A lovely quiet site, very well kept good facilities nice clean showers and toilets also a separate disabled shower and toilet block. All pitches are well spaced with plenty of room for full awning and space to park your car, 2 well stocked fishing pools. Friendly helpful staff and a little reception shop for everyday needs. Plenty of places to visit, Cambridge, Ely and St Ives. Tesco supermarket and garage in March which is nearby.

Peaceful weekend

Chose this site as we have stayed on a number of sites in the Peterborough area. The fishing lakes attracted my husband. It is located in an area where you would need your car as the village is quite a walk away. The pitches are very spacious, although care is needed negotiating round if you have a large unit. We was on hardstanding that was a fully serviced pitch. This was good value considering it was a bank holiday weekend also. The fishing is good, choice of 2 lakes, both well stocked with fish. Can fish full day or get half day tickets, fishing until dusk. The toilet blocks are immaculate. Only a few toilets and showers, most people tend to use their own facilities these days. We didn't know until we got there, that there is also a CL . This has a shower and toilet that we could use if need be as our pitch 25 was nearer to that than the toilet block. We will certainly return, and probably try the CL. Pity its not nearer for us to use more frequent. Lovely welcoming staff, who gave us a fridge magnet when checking in. Lovely touch.

Visit: 23/8-26/8/2016

Very friendly lady on reception who explained absolutely everything to me after finding out it was a first-time visit. Even threw in a fridge magnet ! I have a large American RV but found very little difficulty in manoeuvring around and pitching up. Serviced, hard-standing pitch was very spacious despite having neighbours who pitched close by. Toilet and shower block is very good, well-maintained but lacking in number of cubicles. Only three showers in main male block and in August, at peak times, you might have a wait. Very peaceful and secluded.

Caravan Virgins!

First time with a caravan as we usually are under canvas. The weekend was more of a tester weekend to see how the caravan worked.. However this site I must say was one of the best sites I've been to todate. The site itself is stunning and very very peaceful. The toilets/shower block were very clean. The little walks around the site with dog on lead were also lovely . Just a shame your not allowed to let them off in the wooded area. We did want to take a walk on the public footpaths/dog walks but the weather was so good it was a bit too far to go! The nearest pub is a 40 min walk so this was a little bit disappointing but I would definitely say I will be returning to the site. Without a doubt it made our first trip a very successful one and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Very peaceful

Very nice site in a nice location. One for those keen on fishing as there are two good sized ponds on site. Not much room for manoeuvring into pitch. Facilities very clean and staff very helpful. A littl too quite for us. There are short dog walks around the ponds and on tracks through fields adjacent to the site.

Worth a visit

We stayed last weekend and was the owners were very welcoming on arrival, the site is well kept and the pitches are a good size and level, Shower/ toilet block spotless and with piped music. Shop has most things that you need at short notice and for the a good stock of fishing items and bait. Campsite quiet as it is adult only. We stayed for the weekend but we would definitely return.  Downside, drainage pipe needs to be very long to reach sink as it is situated along side the water tap and electricity We had to use our waste master which defeats the object of having fully service pitch. I think this is not helped by having to park caravan in the middle of the pitch rather than the side. I think this is a minor issue and not one that by buying extra pipe won't solve.  Overall a great site.

Quiet break

Fantastic, peaceful location to get away from it all. Site & facilities in excellent condition. Wardens could not have  been more helpful. Would certainly recommend for a quiet break away from the rat-race. Please note - this is an adults only site - hence lower rating regarding families

Peace and quiet reigns

We have recently returned from our fourth visit to Fields End Water and will be going back in August for our fifth time! The site is well-maintained with generously sized pitches and the recently refurbished shower block is pretty good too. The wardens are very helpful and friendly. My husband enjoys the fishing and we both love the peace and quiet of an adult only site.

Fenland birdwatching

We came for the fishing - which I am told by my husband was very good but I spent much time walking out over the fields which had a wonderful selection of fenland birds - partridge, yellow wagtails, reed warblers, mistle thrush and many more. A super site which I would visit again.
