Happy holidays!

Had a wonderful 2 weeks here. Wardens helpful, friendly and cheerful! Beautifully clean and well looked after. Been here before and will be back. Just a pity the club doesn't referb the toilet block there is nothing wrong with them but would be nice to have them like all the other referbs they have done. Definite recommend a holiday here.

stunning family site

So this is  the  second site that we have arrived at in this year's holiday. 2 adults 1 6yr old and a springer spaniel puppy. Staff welcome you with a smile, site is immaculate, showers and toilets likewise. The weather has been rough but thanks to good hedges the wind has been minimal, now there is nothing at all bad about this site. The issues are with the beach if you have a dog you will find that Cornwall  council are the most unfriendly dog council in Britain!  The access to the beach where you can take your dog was washed away in storms last year, so after a long walk to the other access your met with a sign saying # the council  are aware that access to the dog beach has been washed away ..However we will not make exceptions to the ban on this beach should you walk your dog on it you will be prosecuted!  This means no beach day for the family until after 7th because the council will not  repair the steps down. So although the site and people are great  we will not return, this in effect that next year's holiday spend of approx £1300 will be spent on the Welsh economy not in Cornwall.  So in closing great site, great staff, clean showers but no good if you have a dog in the family and want to use the beach in the day. Also fabulous lidl  just down the road.

Nice site

Great site close to the beach, Godrevy beach has a national trust car park with a cafe. The toilet block is maintained to a high standard, only four toilet cubicles for the men you may need to cue. The dish was area is very compact and you will need to be friendly with fellow washers. My wife was disappointed there was no shower with an adjustable head, usually the norm on most club sites. Overall we had a great stay here and would return.

A gem in the south!!!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Godrevy and will certainly be returning soon. The site was peaceful and well presented with beautiful flower beds and borders that were clearly well looked after, the facilities were immaculate at all times which i would imagine during a busy school holidays is no small task, the wardens were extremely friendly and helpful and they could not do enough for us!!! They were always smiling and you had the real sense that they enjoyed their job. They are all a credit to the Caravan Club and we look forward to returning.

Excellent site

What a lovely site arrived in a busy August Saturday yet the wardens were so helpful came with us to ensure we could get on the pitch we wanted.  The site was lovely and peaceful with a lovely park for our 9 year old who made lots of friends.  The toilet block which had received so many reviews was always clean and we never had to queue for a shower.  If we return to Cornwall next year there will be no hesitation in booking on this beautiful site again.

Can't save pitches WARDENS

We arrived on time. We spoke to the receptionist and asked if there were any pitches close to each other, she said no, o dear I said I, then went to say we have relatives coming in three days and before I could finished my sentence I was snap at by the lady warden she said in no circumstances you save pitches, which I would just like to point out I wasn't asking to . WELL a week later a family pulled on and pitched there caravan then put there car on the pitch next to them which one of the wardens asked them to move it the car, the owner of the van said the receptionist had told him he could save the pitch for there friends, the warden said I will go and speak to her, a little time later he came back and we clearly heard him tell him to move his car and I will put a disabled sign on the white post then no one will question it. Joke, the friends turned up with bikes/boards and canoe on there car, no one was disabled. Its appallingly to think these paid wardens break the clubs rule.  There were so many people around moaning certain wardens spoil the good club that we all pay to be members of and the fact that we  have to stick to all the club rules, really not happy with what we saw.

Comment from The Club:

Many thanks for your review and we are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit to Godrevy Park.  We have been in touch with the wardens who confirm that the disability issue was a genuine one. Our Wardens work really hard to ensure that The Club rules are adhered to in order to ensure the smooth operation and management of the site as well as the safety of the people staying on the site.  Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and I hope this helps to address your concerns

26 July - 8th August

Wonderful site with friendly and helpful wardens, who kept the site and facilities in immaculate condition. The pitches are spacious and arranged in bays leading to a far less regimented street- like formation. It is a pity that the shower block has not been refurbished as this would enhance the site even more and as the wardens put so much effort into keeping the site pristine, they deserve to have the best facilities. We hope to return soon to have another relaxing holiday in this beautiful part of the world. Thanks Jan and Steve for doing such a great job.

Wonderful stay in Cornwall

During our Holiday trip in South England we had a very pleassant stay in this wonderful Camp-Site. It is a lovely situated site near the beach with friendly wardens and comfortabel facilities. It's central location gives a lot of opportunities to travel around. We visited Land's end, Lizard Point, Trebah Garden and walked on the coast path from Hayle to St. Ives. We can recommend this site for all People loving Camping in Cornwall.

Outstanding.

Just stayed on this site for seven nights during peak holiday period.  There are clear signs not to arrive before midday which was nice to see and there is no where to park if you are early so bear this in mind.  Wardens very friendly and helpful we were given good advice about free pitches. The site is kept immaculately and despite being nearly full we only waited for a shower once and it didn't feel that busy.  The location is outstanding and there is loads to do for a young family within an hours drive at most.  Of mention is the train from Lelant Salting to St Ives  a really nice way to visit St Ives.  For us the facilities were more than adequate and we will be back. Great site, great location the only downside were noisy youths at 10pm but I'm sure out of season it would be peaceful.
