Easter stay

We stayed over Easter raring on the Thursday and departing Tuesday. Upon arriving we received a very warm welcome and advised on which pitches were available and the pros and cons each. The site is immaculately maintained in all aspects, showers/toilets/laundry wash up room. You can see all the Wardens take great pride in their roles. The only thing we would add is a late night arrivals area.

Geat Time at Godrevy Site for Easter 2015

We stayed at Godrevy again this Easter, as last year. Apart from the wind and drizzle on the Friday the weather was brilliant again. We had lunch with some friends at the Old Quay House Lelant on Saturday. We walked down to the beach and across to the Red River and the Rockpool for a coffee on Sunday. Lovely walk and later on whilst driving around near Portreath we saw a cuckoo flying along the road and then perched on a post. Facilities and friendly staff as usual all perfect. Nearly stayed another day but had to get back for work.

Yet another good stay.

We stayed at the Godrevy site for three nights over Easter. This was our third time here and have always received a very warm welcome. It is a lovely site the facilities a spotless and the wardens work hard to keep up the high standards. We will be returning soon.

A Great Easter

We arrived on site on Good Friday and were welcomed by the very helpful team at Godrevey. The site is ideally situated next to the Towans where the dogs enjoyed numerous walks.  The Pub in Godrevey a 10 minute walk had a beer festival on this weekend so we made the short walk to avail ourselves of some of the beverages on offer. The walk to the Rockpool bar and restuarant a bit further down the road was walk-able - about 20 minutes where we had an evening meal. I would recommend taking a torch if you are walking in the dark as there are no pavements. The site as expected was very clean and well run and despite our pitch being quite close the the road it was very peaceful. Another great Caravan Club site. Thank you we will be back.

Great site fabulous location wonderful wardens

Had possibly the worst week weatherwise with strong gales and rain, but still enjoyed my stay at this well located site. The wardens were exceptionally good, and even offered to help me pitch up as I was on my own and a novice caravanner. They also offered advice after a particularly windy and van rocking night to check my steadies.Which I did and had a much better nights sleep that night. Site is in great position to be able to tour all the beaches and scenery of that part of Cornwall. In the summer it would be a great place to take children. Many thanks again to the kind wardens.

Great site

Lovely well cared for site with very friendly wardens. On arrival was asked if I had a dog and then shown on site plan where gate to dog walk with access across road to dunes. Also was advised not to use main entrance with dog.Dunes area there very open and I certainly did not get lost.Would definitely recommend.

Lovely site

Godrevy is a lovely site about about 5 minutes drive from Hayle and the far south west coast of Cornwall. The wardens were great as would be expected at a club site. There were lots of dogs at this site and so I would have assumed that it was a good location for dogs. However on this point I was disappointed. There was no dog walk on site, not even a small area for early morning and last thing at night walks. To get to anywhere to take the dogs you had to cross a quite busy lane which was narrow and on a blind bend both ways and so thus taking your life in your hands every time you crossed the road. The only area to walk the dogs was in the dunes which was a difficult place to walk due to there being no signs and therefore it was easy to get lost. The beach looked lovely but there was no easy access down to the beach either for humans or dogs. People were on the beach so there must be ways down that are safe but they must be some way from the site. You need to drive to get into Hayle as walking from the site is not sensible due to the lack of a pavement. So to me not a good site to take dogs and for them to be able to have a good free run due to the difficulty of finding a really safe area for them to run in.
