We stayed here for 2 nights on the way home to Scotland. if you want wifi then best find somewhere else. I tried to do some catch up work but couldn't, however that didn't affect our stay. TV reception wasn't great but that was no big deal either, I'm sure a booster would do the trick. I do like radio though..... There were far too many wifi comments in the visitors book. Its a place to relax, chat, walk, cycle and just enjoy things away from the digital stuff. We are hoping to come down again in the summer. Its a 1 hour walk to Meathop but you can reward yourself in the cafes there. The town has a great butchers shop (sorry veggies) and we came away with a fair supply. There's nothing bad to say about this site. Don't rely on taxis or public transport.
