Facility

We stayed 6 days from 7/8 and had a lovely stay. The wardens were lovely and helpful but sadly the toilet block is desperate for a makeover. The wardens were trying hard to keep it going despite some difficult times. Despite this we enjoyed our stay

Penrhos August 2016

This was our 4th visit to this site in as many years. We really like Benllech and the surrounding area and staying at this conveniently located site is a very pleasant experience, despite the weather not being up to scratch. For the first time we chose a corner pitch in the smaller area behind reception and it was more private and quieter than the main area past the toilet block, thus much to our liking. The wardens are very friendly and helpful and do a good job of keeping the site in good condition. The 9-hole golf course down the road is good, as well, although a bit hilly for those short on stamina. Crazy Monday is especially good when one can play 9 or 18 holes for only £7. We WILL certainly be back and hopefully get the same corner pitch.

Beautifully maintained site

Our 3rd visit with our grandsons. It's such a great site for them to make friends that we only see them for meals when we are on site. It's only a few minutes from Benllech beach which provides safe bathing and this time we were lucky to pick a week when there were high tides around midday. Unfortunately whilst it is a dog free beach in the summer we witnessed numerous dogs being walked on the beach despite there being obvious notices at each point of access. This site is not far from Red Warf Bay which has great restaurants. Beaumaris is only about 20mins away and children pack the pier fishing for crabs, again there are good eateries there and the Black Bull has a great restaurant.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic few days here, this was our first time on Anglesey. The Wardens were friendly and helpful, site well maintained. We liked the pots of herbs which were available for everyone to pick if required. Lots of coves and beaches to explore. We especially enjoyed a visit to the RSPB site at South Stacks and also Moelfre a pretty former fishing village where there is an interesting lifeboat station, walks along the cliffs and a great fish and chip shop, although you need to book a table if eating there in the evening. We didn't have time to see everything on Anglesey so will be back again.

Great Site

Arrived at Penrhos, for a five day break with grandson and two labradoodle dogs, we had planned various days out, which did not materialize thanks to all the new friends my grandson made, we did manage to get to the beach on a few occassions so the dogs could have a good swim. The site was spotless, as was the toilet block, excellent play park for the kids, the last night of our stay our grandson was in tears, he did not want to leave all his new found friends. all in all an excellent five days, will be booking this site again. Thanks Penrhos.

First Caravan club site visit

Only our 10th trip out so we are relatively new to caravanning. We really enjoyed staying at Penrhos and it was our first stay on a caravan club site. The site is well kept and shower/toilets clean but would be better if the shower heads weren't fixed as the water just hits the curtain which then just sticks to you. One or two cubicles (in Ladies showers anyhow) has removeable shower head and these are much better. Why not update all showers to these?

Lovely site

First time in Anglesey but wont be the last. And we will definitely stay on this site again. Clean, quiet and easy to find. The lady in the layby sells wonderful spuds. There is so much to see and do, we needed to stay much longer here. Which we will do. Just got to get the weather right.
