A wet Anglesy

A very pleasant site, very busy whilst we were there, but the toilet block is overdue for a revamp.

Relaxing week in Angelsey

We have just spent 7 nights on this site. We have found it a lovely site, great position to tour the island. Really well kept and maintained site and very friendly and helpful wardens.

Toilet Block problems

Stayed at Penrhos site for 9 nights leaving on the 4th July. Site almost full but nice and quiet. This is a good location if you want to tour the island and go over the bridge into Snowdonia. The only negative was the toilet block. during the second half of our holiday the smell was not at all pleasant and on one day they had to close the toilet block to allow the problem to be investigated. The toilets were re-opened later that night, but the smell still continued and the flushing of toilets became an issue. I hope they have now fixed this issue for the sack of future customers.

Message from The Club:

Thank you for your review. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your time in the area. We regret to hear, however, that you did not feel the quality of the toilet block was up to standard, please know that we have since rectified the issue. We would welcome you to contact us directly if you wish to discuss your experience in further detail. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back to experience the high standard of service we have become known for.

Some Rules Just Don't Aply To Them

Had a nice stay but everyday a chap would exercise is two dogs on the grass pitches behind us not on leads and doing what dogs do, granted it was picked up but do you want your children playing on that, needs reminding of the rules .

Country calm

Lovely site - even in the rain!! Unfortunately walking from the site involved roadwork but 10 mins in the car got us to the Welsh coastal path which is great - loads of wild flowers - beautiful views. The wardens were helpful and a pitch easily found. The only gripe is the very severe road humps into the site - the first one especially. Is this because there is no barrier??

Nice, Peaceful Site

This is a good site with lots of pitches, though the majority are grass. Be aware that some of the grass pitches are on slopes (and so are the ones that are taken last, late arrivals beware!). Other than that this is a good site with decent facilities which are well kept by the friendly staff. It is in a good location for beaches on either coast, but there is little infrastructure in the immediate vicinity of the Club Site

Lovely relaxing site

Stayed here for a week earlier this month. What a fabulous place. Staff very friendly and helpful and site very well kept and run. The dog exercise field is great - having five dogs it was an absolute godsend to have somewhere safe to exercise them. All in all one of the best holidays we have had and we will definitely be back next year.

Peaceful and very well run site

I have stayed here twice this year and have already booked for early July, a well run site which is kept very clean and tidy. All the staff are friendly and very very helpful nothing is to much trouble for them if you have a problem. Dog walks are excellent can not comment on the child facilities

Little piece of heaven

I just love this site we return every year, it is so peaceful and quiet. Granted it's busier in the school holidays but there is a big playground well away from the pitches that seems well used. The toilet block is, I ,believe , to be updated aT the end of this year, and more hard standings introduced, which, we feel is a shame as we prefer the grass. Anglesey is such a beautiful island and this site is well placed to explore both coasts. The site is very dog friendly with an on site dog walk and a lane that runs along the back of the site which is accessed through a gate. Anglesey as a whole is very dog friendly too, unfortunately the beach at benllech is dog free but there are plenty of other accessible ones that aren't. Will definitely be going back next year?

Peacefull

Stayed 2 nights June 2016 wish he could have been more, the staff are extremly hepful and polite Barbara and Dave thank you so much for your help and advice. Lovely clean and peaceful site with great facilities which are cleaned everyday, very dog freindly with a dog walk that is actually a walk. Very large pitches which were easy to level even the grass pitches were level. I cannot fault this site and will be returning soon and hopefuly will have the same weather which was fab. Benllech beach is 3 miles away but a lovely walk and when you get there you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
